Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and determine if I am the right fit for your child. I know this is just as scary for you as it is for me, but the joy at the thought of you choosing me to parent your child overcomes the unknown fear. I appreciate your selflessness and bravery. If it were not for women like you, I would never have known the joy of a child and the real meaning of family and life.
I hope you find peace knowing I will give your child a loving, supportive home, whatever windy road they may choose in life. I will wish for their worries to stay small and their dreams to remain large. I will work hard every day to be a better mother and person, learning from the day before. My dad once told me, “no one will remember what you did, but they will always remember the way you made them feel.” It would be an honor and the most humbling gift if you choose me to parent your child. I cannot wait to meet you and your baby.
I sit here writing this letter as my almost 1 year old daughter takes her afternoon nap. The dishes are half done and the vacuum cleaner is staring me in the face. I don’t know if you are a country music fan, but my household goes a little like the song, “You’re Gonna Miss This”, where the mother apologizes to the contractor in her home for the barking dogs and screaming baby. As crazy as it may get, my daughter is my highest priority and I am the happiest I have ever been now that I am a mother. I am an outdoor enthusiast and take advantage of just about every outdoor activity Colorado has to offer! Although now that I am a mom, I also really enjoy the smaller things in life, like sitting in the living room playing with my daughter and her toys. My friends and work colleagues make fun of me because my daily life is so routine; I am up at 4am for a workout, eat fairly healthy, and am in bed quickly after my daughter falls asleep.
I love my job. My company produces life-saving medicines and I am fortunate to sit on a team that works diligently everyday to ensure costs are kept low to the patient. It is a fulfilling and rewarding position. The most fortunate part is my position allows me to partly work from home which gives me so much more time with my daughter.
My Home & Pets
I fulfilled my goal of living in the mountains 5 years ago, when I purchased my home in a small mountain town of Colorado that I consider my playground. It is a small community and everyone knows everyone, which I love; they say it takes a village to raise a child! I have a deep love for animals and many times you can find me at the animal shelter, checking out a dog for the day. I love watching the pure joy in their faces as they run free through the mountains. I have 2 dogs of my own, Zephyr, a boxer mix, and my teddy bear golden retriever, Tucker.
My Extended Family
My parents retired in Phoenix, but we get together about 6 times a year for holidays, vacations and family milestones. My sister has 4 children and lives about 1 hour from me. In 2 weeks, her oldest will graduate high school! Where does the time go?! While my sister was raising children as a stay at home mom, I was building a life around my job and would commute by air to spend time with my family during the holidays. The moment my daughter came into my life, our bond as sisters tightened because my life now revolves around my growing family as hers already did. I never knew how my sister did it with 4, but now, more than anything, I want to fill my house with children as they are truly life’s joy!
What Led Me To Adoption
I spent the past 13 years growing into the woman I am today. I’ve been working hard, climbing mountains, snow skiing, searching for a life partner that I could share the journey of life with, enjoying my passion for animals by fostering dogs and raising several of my own. However, I felt this constant emptiness. I thought it was because I had failed at finding a partner I could not live without; but, I realized, it was due to my deep desire to have a family. I chose an egg donor to bring my daughter into my life and she has shown me I can be a great mother on my own, and for that I am grateful. Everything happens for a reason! Although my family looks different than what society says it is supposed to look like, I realized we as women are stronger than we think and should build our families the way we want. Through this experience, I know adoption is the right choice for me.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
