We are extremely excited and grateful to have you looking at our profile. We appreciate the time you are taking to get to know us, and we want to thank you for considering us as parents for your child. There are not enough words to show you the gratitude that is in our hearts.
We can’t even imagine the process you are going through in making this decision. We believe there is something that has guided you to look at our profile. The decision to allow someone else to raise your child is the most selfless act a mother can do, and we want you to know we are willing to answer any questions that may cross your mind.
We look forward to making many memories by sharing holidays and going on family outings together. We are excited for your baby to get to know the many cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents they will have in their life. We will give him or her the most love and support any parent can. We will guide them in life and help them achieve their dreams. About Us
Amy works as a workforce case manager, helping individuals that are in poverty go through trainings to develop skills and gain a livable wage job. Kai drives a truck and delivers steel to companies to our tri-state area and is home every night. We met 13 years ago, when Amy was taking care of Kai’s ill father in a nursing home as a certified nursing assistant. Not long after, we ran into each other again and decided to have coffee. We’re still having coffee 12 years later! We dedicate time to our church, to others in recovery, and to each other. We enjoy spending time with friends and family, and as a couple we go on motorcycle trips, sometimes with friends and sometimes just with each other. We also enjoy the occasional hockey game.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-bedroom, ranch-style home with a large fenced-in backyard and an unattached garage. Our neighborhood is quiet, safe, and close to schools and many parks. Our community has many family-friendly activities to engage children and a diverse cultural population for children to learn new things. We also have two dogs, named Cooper and Diego. Cooper is a red-heeler/border collie mix and loves to give kisses and play, and Diego is a chihuahua mix who was rescued and loves laying in the sun for naps.
Our Extended Family
Amy’s parents live on a small farmstead only 20 minutes from us. Her family consists of one brother and four sisters, all of whom are married and have children. On Amy’s side of the family, there is a total of 18 nieces and nephews. All of her siblings and their families live within an hour of us, so we get together a lot for birthdays or holidays with big family meals. We usually spend this time visiting, playing outdoors, or playing some sort of game with everyone.
Kai’s parents have unfortunately both passed away, but his stepfather lives about 10 minutes from us. We will have meals and spend some holidays with him. Kai also has a sister who lives a few hours from us, who we talk to on the phone weekly and visit a few times a year. Kai has three children from previous relationships, who all live close by and come over occasionally to have a meal or watch a movie.
We are very close to both sides of our families. They are all very excited and supportive of our adoption of a child.
What Led Us To Adoption
After many tests and fertility treatments, we found that we were unable to conceive, so we came to the decision that adoption was where our journey was leading us. We have a strong belief that God is leading this journey, and we could not be more excited to be on it. We have a number of friends who have been adopted and highly encouraged us, knowing the love and support we could give to any child. We are hopeful to have the opportunity to enrich our lives as well as the life of a beautiful child.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
