dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We cannot begin to thank you enough for your consideration of us while making an adoption plan. We cannot imagine what a difficult journey you have made thus far, and we are humbled by your strength, selflessness, and love. You are important to us. We remember sitting alone at nights after failed conception, crying with each other and crying out to God. Now we can see the plan and the joy in the heart-wrenching process. We wouldn’t change one one moment, because, in the end, life brought us to you.
If you choose us, you will choose for your sweet one to be raised by two people with strong commitment to family and who incorporate qualities of hard work, kindness, acceptance, love for all mankind, and deep spiritual strength in our everyday lives. These are all values we cherish in our family and all characteristics with which we will raise your sweet child. We are open minded and loyal; we love without limits, and our love is forever. Choosing us is choosing big family holidays and quiet family evenings. Choosing us is choosing a starry night and your little one running through the yard catching fireflies and making wishes. Choosing us is choosing blustery snow days, sled riding and hot chocolate in the afternoon, and warm cuddles and a book at night.
Tony and Amy
We met on a matchmaking website. Amy was finishing her senior year of college, and Tony was working as a software engineer. We lived over an hour away from each other and commuted for several years to visit each other while dating. After a year and a half of long-distance dating, Amy proposed to Tony, and Tony said yes. We both love adventure and road trips. One of our first dates was hiking, and within a month, we traveled south to hike in West Virginia. Amy has spent her entire adult career working with children; she is also an author of three successful novels. Her passion is teaching, and she is pursuing her English teaching certification. Tony is a research and development engineer who loves building: legos, puzzles, even woodworking! He has handcrafted many beautiful pieces over the years. He also is a skilled musician and loves relaxing at night by playing the bass.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a cozy, three-bedroom house on 1.5 acres in the country. We love the simplicity of rural life but live very close to a diverse university town. We have the best of both worlds! We have a pond with four frogs, and we regularly see a family of deer visiting our yard to munch on their late night snacks. One of our favorite home activities is throwing apples to the deer. We also have a fire pit and enjoy inviting family and friends over for bonfires and s’mores. Our three cats love snoozing in the sun by the French doors and taking afternoon naps with Tony on the weekends. We can’t wait to have our children gather on the porch to enjoy family dinners.
Our Extended Family
We are both very close to our extended families. Tony is the youngest of two, and Amy is the youngest of three. Amy’s grandmother is still living, and Amy is able to visit her once a week. Tony, a doting uncle to his brother’s two girls, loves playing games with them when we visit. Amy’s family has two nephews and two nieces to whom Amy is very devoted. She spends ample time with them, playing games like “make-up party,” riding bikes, attending softball/tee-ball, and numerous other activities.
We enjoy kayaking, picnicking, and road trips with extended family and can’t wait to start swim lessons with our little one so he or she can safely swim and boat during summers at the lake. Our families are renowned for birthday parties; we never miss a birthday. Tony’s family loves to take epic family vacations once every other year! Our little one will have incredibly close bonds with their dedicated grandparents, many caring aunts and uncles, and six boisterous cousins. We consider being an aunt and uncle the most joyful blessing of our lives. Our families and friends are very excited about our adoption journey.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always been open to growing our family in whatever way was possible. When we picture ourselves with children, we feel a completeness that is indescribable. Amy can’t wait to be a stay-at-home mom. Becoming a mother is her dream job. Tony will be an excellent provider and a wonderful, hands-on father. He cannot wait to teach our children our passions and to help them explore their passions! Tony’s best friend was adopted as an infant, and we can see the strong bond he has with his sister and family. He has been a great source of strength for us, and we can see through his example how family is about love, not simply DNA.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
