dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We would like to tell you how brave and courageous you are. Your selflessness is greatly admired and will never go unnoticed. We understand you have some tough decisions ahead, and with that in mind, we would like to take a moment to tell you we would be honored to be considered as the family for your child.
You would be giving us God’s greatest gift, one we struggle to give ourselves: parenthood. We have longed to be parents and want nothing more than to be known as the protector, the hero, the nurturer, and the role model. There will be no secret to their story. This beautiful child will know from an early age of the sacrifices you have made for them. From going to the zoo or aquarium to helping with baking or playing in the yard with Margot, there are many days of fun, laughter, and learning ahead.
Please know we understand the difficulty in this decision because your life will change, but please remember, you will be changing our lives as well. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us as we hope to get to know you in return.
Nic & Amberley
We are Nic and Amberley. We met in third grade. Although we remained friends after middle school, we didn’t officially become a couple until many years later. After buying a home, we decided to get married and start our lives together. Amberley is a Registered Nurse who enjoys caring for others and making her patients smile. Nic works as an elevator and escalator mechanic and enjoys the challenges of the trade as well as working with his hands. At home, we enjoy binge watching Netflix, walking our dog Margot, doing home renovations, and making meals together. One night a week, we try our best to get out and enjoy a date night. We also enjoy the occasional road trip and searching for a new restaurant to try.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a three-bedroom Cape Cod with a spacious and wooded backyard. We have great views of our city and the downtown area. We are located on a quiet street with friendly neighbors, a mix of young and older families. Our home is within walking distance of the city’s restaurants and shops. We are also minutes away from the aquarium, zoo, and movie theatre. We have two cats, Harper and Lola, and a dog, Margot. The cats sleep all day, while Margot enjoys going to the park or to puppy camp a few days a week. The animals are very excited to welcome a new member to the family, someone they can cuddle and protect.
Our Extended Family
Our family values time spent together. There are many activities we do together as a family, and some have turned into traditions. As a family, we try our best to get together every Sunday for breakfast or dinner. This allows us to bond, plus our mothers are great cooks. During the holidays, the women of the family get together for our annual cookie exchange, and a week or so before Christmas, we get together to see The Nutcracker ballet. Our niece is a dancer, so we enjoy watching her enjoy it. Another tradition is soup and grilled cheese on Halloween. Everyone gets a hot meal before venturing out to trick-or-treat. The guys in the family get together on Sunday morning to golf. This tradition has been going strong for a few years now.
What Led Us To Adoption
We always knew we wanted to start growing our family after marriage, but it wasn’t until our fertility struggles that we decided to take the leap forward toward adoption. We are familiar with people who have been adopted, and they have shared their stories with us of joy and gratitude. We view adoption as a blessing and believe we have the love and resources to build a strong and meaningful family bond. Our decision to adopt has brought hope back into our lives, and we can’t wait to start this journey!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
