dear expectant mother

Our priority in this letter is to bring you comfort and peace. We hope to support and honor you in this decision, throughout your pregnancy, and postpartum in any way we can. You are already an amazing mother because you are making a huge sacrifice for the benefit of your baby, and that is something we respect and admire. We are open to whatever level of contact makes you feel comfortable. We hope to place no expectations or pressure on you. We are willing to have as open contact as feels right for you.

We are kind, patient, and loving people. We consider ourselves to be loyal, stable, and safe. We hope to create a home filled with love and security. You will be honored in our home and in the eyes of your child as we raise them to know how much you gave them.

We are committed to loving unconditionally and working hard to give them all that life has to offer. We want our hard work and loving home to provide them with the opportunity to grow into a happy, well-rounded person with every option in the world available to them.

About Us

Thank you for getting to know us! After a close friendship of close to 20 years, we fell in love as adults. After around a year of dating, we eloped in the north Georgia mountains. We met at a concert as young teens when (Josh lifted Amber onto his shoulders for a better view. We have so much mutual admiration and respect for one another with both of us working hard as equal partners to create and maintain our dream home and life. We value and prioritize time spent together, and we exercise together daily. We love spending time working on projects at our home, being with our animals, and spending time with our loved ones. We especially love nature and adventures!

Our Home & Pets

We built our beautiful home in 2022 on two acres of land in Tennessee. It is a three-bedroom home with 2.5 bathrooms. We live next door to Amber’s grandparents and across the street from her parents. We have two dogs, Betsy and Gus, two cats, Cupcake and Donut, and seven chickens. We live in a neighborhood that is centrally located, with access to a thriving city. We are surrounded by mountains, creeks, hiking trails, and parks.

Our Extended Family

Our lives are filled with so much love! We enjoy spending time with parents and grandparents on both sides of the family, sharing holiday traditions, game nights, etc. We also have nephews, nieces, and our dear friends’ children who love to come to our house and spend time playing music, playing outside, doing crafts, and going on adventures. We love all the children in our lives and value the important role we play for them. We prioritize spending time with these kiddos and giving them individual attention while making lifelong memories. We take a lot of family camping trips, sometimes just us and our dogs, other times with large groups of friends, family, and kids.

A special thing in our family is that we are members of a historical preservation alliance that works together to take care of a 100-plus-year-old house, church, land, and gold mine in South Dakota. We get to take trips to this family home every year or two and enjoy the beautiful, secluded nature. It gives us the opportunity to travel to different state parks along the way and see different natural wonders of the U.S.

What Led Us To Adoption

We agreed adoption was for us from day one. When we shared that with friends and family, we learned we have many friends who have been adopted, and we have gained vast insight from them. Even more impactful, we learned we have a couple of friends who chose adoption for their children at a place in their lives when they knew that would benefit them. These women sharing their stories has meant so much to us and helped us to understand the perspective of birthparents who make this choice.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
