dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and our family. We have every confidence you will make the right decision for you and your baby as you make this very difficult choice. If you choose us to parent your baby, we promise to cherish and love your child with all our hearts and to provide a safe, happy home and a life filled with every opportunity possible. It would be a great privilege to parent and provide for your child.

We look forward to sharing family traditions with a new child by taking them to the ocean in the spring and skiing in the mountains in the winter; exploring the local parks, children’s museums, and libraries; dressing them in matching holiday pajamas with their sisters; roasting marshmallows on hot summer nights; and looking at Christmas lights in the winter.

We hope you find peace with whatever decision you make.

About Us

Hi, we are Jeff and Amber. We been together since we were teenagers. Over the past 16 years, we’ve grown up together: going to college, buying our first home, starting our family, and beginning our careers. We’ve always been there to support and encourage each other and are each other's biggest cheerleaders.

Jeff is quick to help and slow to anger. He has a wicked sense of humor that always keeps Amber on her toes. He comes home everyday from working at the local hospital, and jumps right in with the kids, and also helping with whatever is needed. Amber is enthusiastic about the things she loves and has an infectious smile. She loves her family deeply and unconditionally. She pursued a career in real estate because it gives her the most flexibility and time with our family.

We have two daughters, Sabrina who is 9 and Laura who is 3. Sabrina loves playing the piano, dancing and reading, while Laura enjoys playing outside and all things messy and loud. They are both very excited to welcome a new baby and become big sisters.

Our Home & Pets

When house shopping 10 years ago, we chose an older home because it had the biggest yard for kids and pets to play in! Because it is older, it was comically outdated. It has been a lot of fun being able to update things over time. This year we added a master bedroom and bath, which was our biggest project! Our home is one level with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. We love that we can walk to parks, Pokestops, the library, restaurants, and the local schools. We share our home with Trudy our sweet dog who joined our family 8 years ago.

Our Extended Family

Jeff’s parents have been married for 40 years. We go skiing in Canada with them every year after Christmas. Every spring we go to the ocean for a few days to dig clams and fly kites. Jeff’s older brother lives with his two children and wife several states away, but we manage to meet up about once a year. The cousins like to mail each other photos and drawings often.

Amber’s parents have been married for 35 years and live close to us. We go to their house for brunch on Sundays, and we regularly play board games together and enjoy watching movies. Every Christmas Amber’s mom gets the family matching pajamas. Amber’s brother lives across the state with his long-term girlfriend. Her sister lives in London, England, but makes it home about twice a year. Both siblings dote on our daughters with love, opportunities, and gifts.

We are incredibly fortunate to have kind and loving families. They are excited for us to grow our family through adoption. When we told them we were adopting, Amber’s mom said she was excited but not surprised.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always dreamed of having a large family. When it was time to add to our family we decided adoption was the best choice for us. We know those who have adopted or been adopted and have seen the joy and happiness it has brought to the families.

Amber’s best friend had an unexpected pregnancy right after high school. After taking a lot of thoughtful time to assess her situation, she chose to make an adoption plan for her baby. Once she found the right family, the relief she felt was tremendous. We would love to be that family an expectant mother is looking for, to give her peace of mind during a hard time.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
