Such a selfless gift and how blessed any couple would be to receive such a gift is beyond anything we can comprehend. We look forward to sharing a look into our home and lives to give you a better picture of who we are as a family!

About Us

A little bit about us: We met almost ten years ago when Patrick was stationed at the same military base where Amara was raised. We got married in 2015 and have continued to pursue and love each other throughout the years. Amara has a great work-from-home job. When she isn’t working, she enjoys reading, working in her garden, and cooking for Patrick and our friends. Amara has a very sunny disposition and is very headstrong but loves to just laugh and enjoy life. Patrick works hard every day in his position in the military and strives to be exceptional at everything he sets his mind to. He has a tough shell but a giant, soft heart that can be seen when he’s interacting with Amara’s niece and our animals. He loves to fish and play any type of sport when he gets a chance, although football is his favorite.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a small town outside of a military post in Texas. We have three dogs: Willow, Lily, and Hachi. They are the sweetest goofballs. Our home is in an established, quiet community and we are very friendly with our neighbors. We are lucky to be in a neighborhood where the sense of community is strong, and we all look out for each other. We have enough land to raise chickens and grow wonderful gardens. Our land backs up to a ranch that raises donkeys and goats. We have three bedrooms and two full bathrooms and are looking forward to personalizing the nursery. The location is convenient to Patrick’s work while still allowing us to enjoy the quiet life away from the city.

Our Extended Family

Amara is the youngest of three girls and was raised in a loving military family. When they get together, they always enjoy each other's company over amazing meals. They play games like Scattergories and Pictionary. Amara currently has a niece, and her sister is pregnant with twins! The three girls are close in age and maintain a very strong relationship. Amara’s parents are always there when needed and are looking forward to multiplying their love with more grandchildren.

Patrick is the oldest of two boys. He and his brother are two years apart and maintain a close bond with each other. His dad was also in the military, and his mother was able to stay home with the boys. They grew up forming bonds with the other neighborhood families that endure to this day. When they are together, they love to hike, fish, and be outdoors. Patrick’s mother is quite possibly the kindest, most generous person one will ever have the pleasure of knowing, and his father is one of the most knowledgeable men on any given subject, making him the perfect subject for an inquisitive child. They are delighted to become grandparents for the first time.

What Led Us To Adoption

Due to various infertility issues, we are unable to have biological children, and this presented us with a profound opportunity to adopt. We both have a deep desire to be parents and share the love we have for each other with a child. We have spent the last seven years growing together as a couple and becoming the people we wish to be for ourselves and as parents. We have heard it expressed that one doesn’t know the depths of love they are capable of until they have a child, but we do understand the love and hope that goes into the consideration of adoption on the side of the birthmother and as adoptive parents. We are so excited for this journey to expand our family!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
