dear expectant mother
Thank you for considering us to be the loving parents of your baby. We are both so excited about this next chapter for our family. Adoption is something we have talked about for a few years now, and it is something that is finally coming to fruition. We are both honored and blessed to go through this process and pray that you will partner with us through this journey.
We believe that we are capable, loving parents and have a good home for a child to grow up in. Our home is filled with joy, love, and warmth. We enjoy trips to the zoo, swimming at Alyssa’s parents’ house, and getting ice cream after dinner. We recently took a trip to a local zoo and aquarium with Jameson, who loved seeing all the animals. We can’t wait to share these experiences with our new baby.
This new child will bring so much joy to our lives. Your baby will grow up surrounded by laughter, encouragement, learning, and, most of all, love. Not only are we excited to have a new baby in the house but Jameson is eager to be a big brother. Rest assured that your baby will know the love that you have for him or her. We are willing to have as much contact with the biological family as you feel comfortable with. We want this new baby to know their whole story, which is filled with love and assurance.
Hello! We are Ryan and Alyssa! We have been married for five years. We initially met in high school when we both worked for the local public pool, and we reconnected in college when we both worked at the mall. After many dates centered around ice cream, baseball games, and walks on the parkway, we knew we were meant to be! Fast forward to the present, and we now have a son, Jameson, who is about to turn three years old. Alyssa is a teacher and coach at a local high school, and Ryan works as a software engineer. As a family, we enjoy playing outside, camping, and being very active (running, going on walks, swimming, etc.). We spend a ton of time with our extended family, especially on the weekends. Our family is also very active in our community through Young Life and within our church family.
Our Home & Pets
Our house is a charming three-bedroom craftsman bungalow in a fantastic neighborhood with great schools. The family room and basement, which has been turned into a playroom, is where we spend most of our time. Our extra-large lot has a ton of room for our kids to play. We also live close to many playgrounds that we walk to as a family and spend the afternoon playing outside. We also have a very friendly cat named Garfield! He likes to join us outside on our screened-in porch while we eat or play in the sun.
Our Extended Family
Alyssa’s loving parents only live about 10 minutes away. Her maternal grandmother also lives with her parents. She has a little brother who also lives in town. Ryan’s parents also live in town, about five minutes away. He has two half-sisters and one half-brother. All siblings are married and have children. Currently, Jameson has eight cousins on Ryan’s side of the family.
Our favorite traditions mainly center around Christmas time. On Christmas Eve, we celebrate by attending church and having dinner at Alyssa’s parents’ house. Here we keep watch for Santa and eat a bunch of snacks! This has been a tradition since Alyssa was little. On Christmas, we wake up to make homemade cinnamon rolls as a family and open presents. Throughout the day, we visit both sides of our family to celebrate the holiday with food, gifts, and laughter.
We also love to vacation with our extended family. Alyssa’s parents have a camper and boat that we take around to various state parks. We fish, go on walks, swim, boat, spend numerous hours playing outside, and, of course, make s’mores!
What Led Us To Adoption
We have had many friends who have been impacted by the adoption. We have watched friends adopt and expand their family within the past two years. Our church also has a big presence in the adoption world, which has allowed us to witness many adoptions within our community. They have an adoption wrap-around team that has great support and information for families who are going through the adoption process and post adoption. We believe God has called us to expand our family through adoption. Adoption would allow us to bring a child into our family to love, encourage, and support.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
