dear expectant mother
Words cannot begin to express all the love and emotion that encompass the gift of adoption. You are so brave, selfless, loving, and strong to consider this path of blessing a couple wanting nothing more than to grow their family! We cannot begin to imagine the roller coaster of emotions you are feeling right now. When we think of the gift you are considering sharing with us, tears come to our eyes. We sit down to write this letter to you with so much gratitude to you and your decisions you have had to make to come to this point. We pray you have felt support and love during this process and we want you to know how courageous we think you are! Your considering us to raise your baby is a blessing.
We promise to provide a home with love and security that is full of laughter. We want you to know we will instill the love life has to offer. We will teach your child acceptance and the love of nature through exploration and adventure. We will teach your child to be kind to all different kinds of people. We will instill confidence and support and always allow them to be who they are and follow their dreams through constant love and encouragement. We promise to share with your child how much courage and love you have. We could not be more ready to take this journey with you, together with help, love, and support.
We met while working together in the local high school special education department teaching students with multiple disabilities. Both of us are very passionate about teaching and molding young minds to grow and lead more fulfilling lives. Sarah is shy, quiet, and introverted but has so much passion for her career, family, and students. Allyson is more outgoing and adventurous but also has so much passion she shares with her family and students. The balance between us goes unmatched throughout our daily life. We are alike in many ways; we both love traveling and exploring the world together. Sarah has the patience of a saint; her love for family and friends shines through in all she does. She always stands up for what is right. Allyson is more the adventurous type, always up to try something new or jump right into a project and get her hands dirty.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a small town in Ohio in a two-story, three-bedroom home with a fenced-in yard. Sarah’s favorite room in the house is the sunroom addition, where there is a fireplace for cold nights and skylights that allow natural light to enter. Allyson’s favorite room is the family room, where most of the time is spent laughing, cuddling, and enjoying quality time together and with our pets and families. Much of our time is spent outside, where we enjoy having bonfires, entertaining, and playing basketball and yard games. We live only a few miles from the local metropark, where we spend time walking trails, sitting by the water, kayaking, camping, and hiking. Together we rescued Penny, a deaf pound dog, and a puppy, Rex.
Our Extended Family
Family is one of the most important things to both of us, and we are thrilled at the idea of adding another member to ours! Both of our families could not be happier at the idea of adoption and adding another member to the family! Sarah’s family is very large, with many extended family members who gather together for all holidays, birthdays, and events throughout the year. Allyson’s family, although a little smaller, still shares the same amount of love and traditions.
One of Allyson’s favorite family traditions is volunteering at the local rescue mission for Thanksgiving and preparing meals for those less fortunate during the holidays. Allyson was able to learn so much about love and compassion during this family tradition and cannot wait to share those ideas with our children. Sarah cannot wait to show our child the ocean; every summer her large extended family travels to her aunt’s house in South Carolina. The time spent together every year is something we always look forward to, and we enjoy the whole extended family’s company!
What Led Us To Adoption
From an early age, we have both shared a love and appreciation for adoption. The idea of children was always something discussed even from an early point in our relationship. Adoption was always something both of us wanted to share. We knew we wanted children to share our lives with, and we started researching and gathering more information. We realized how much we both want to do it. To know there is a possibility we could be chosen to give a child a loving home is a true blessing. We cannot wait to share our love we have for each other, our pets, and life with a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
