dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We honestly cannot imagine the emotions you must have as you contemplate an adoption plan. We are in awe of your courage and strength in making this decision. Please know we will honor and cherish you in our family and your baby will know you love them, if you choose us.
We want you to know we will love this baby. We can’t wait to bring an infant into our home. We became first-time parents to foster kids, and it has honestly been one of the best things in our lives. We love the kids who come to our home; they have taught us so much, including how much we love being parents. We can’t wait to love this baby too! We look forward to sharing life’s experiences with them. We want to watch them grow with our family, take them hiking and camping, show them the tide pools at the coast, and enjoy family vacations (especially Disneyland!). We want to teach them to be kind to all people and animals and to be good citizens of our world. We can’t wait to watch them grow into who they are meant to be, whether that’s an avid reader, a kid who loves sports, one who may love to create and build, or a dreamer with an imagination big enough to change the world. They will be loved unconditionally.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us just a little bit. We pray you will find peace and comfort in your journey.
We met a little over six years ago through a church dating site. It turned out we actually knew each other in college but just didn’t make a connection at that time. Once we did, we became friends, dated, and married two and a half years later. We really enjoy being with each other, long drives, hiking, and traveling. We love a good movie night and doing projects together, which fits Nate’s hobby of woodworking. He has built many things for our home, is handy around the house, loves building Legos, and cooks an awesome Thanksgiving dinner! Allyson really enjoys being an auntie, all things Disney, and training and showing dogs. This passion for animals led her to be a specialized veterinary pharmacist, and she loves her job. Nate works as an IT operator and is also continuing his education to find a position that aligns with his passion.
Our Home & Pets
We love where we live! We have a two-story, four-bedroom traditional home in a smaller town about 25 minutes away from a bigger city. We have a great yard that allows kids and dogs to play and has room for our garden boxes. Our neighborhood is filled with families and kids, and many of our neighbors attend the same church as we do. They know the journey we have been on as foster parents and are excited for us to welcome a baby. We can’t wait to help your child explore the parks, lakes, and rivers close by and the coast or the mountains only a few short hours away from us. We look forward to showing them the beautiful world we live in.
Our Extended Family
Our family is so excited to welcome a new baby. We may be spread out in several states, but we try to see them when we can and video chat often. We love spending time with extended family as well, and we have a lot of it.
Allyson’s parents live only 20 minutes away, and they often help with our foster kids. They love doing this and getting to be foster grandparents. They are super excited about having another grandchild to watch grow and to go to sports competitions and choir concerts and spoil them on trips. Unfortunately Nate’s parents have both passed away, but we keep them close in our hearts and know they would be beyond excited for us. They loved all their grandkids and will continue to be a source of inspiration for us.
We love being with extended family on holidays but especially Christmas Eve with Allyson’s family. It’s a big group (up to 65 people), but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We also really enjoy going to Nate’s brother’s each spring to watch the play that his sister-in-law produces in their community, which often includes our nieces and nephews in roles.
What Led Us To Adoption
We learned early in our marriage that we would not be able to have biological children, but we knew we could still have a family. We both have siblings who have adopted children, and we know how it has touched their lives and ours. We initially felt inspired to work through foster care. It took a lot of time to get licensed, but we started welcoming kids into our home in May 2020. We never put our dreams of adoption away, and we know now is the time to start this new path. We feel there are many ways to be family, and each journey is special and unique. We are grateful to be a part of it.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
