dear expectant mother

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our profile and considering us as potential parents for your child. We know this is not an easy decision for you, but we are here to support you throughout this process in any way we can. We are incredibly thankful and humbled by you as you embark on this courageous and selfless act of love.

We are beyond thrilled at the prospect of being parents and cannot wait to show your child, should you choose us, all of our favorite places around the country, to go to zoos and aquariums, and have weekly Sunday dinners with family. We cannot wait to include a child in our annual beach trips with our best friends and have matching pajamas as a family for Christmas Eve. We cannot wait to bake cookies, play at the park, and have playdates with our friends’ children.

In raising this child, we hope to instill values of compassion, hope, and love. We hope to teach this child a strong work ethic and about being kind and generous to everyone. We hope to teach this child about finding their passion in life and achieving their dreams. We hope this child will always know how wanted and loved they are and will never doubt their worth.

About Us

We met as teenagers at a church youth activity and were friends for many years. Luke served a two-year mission trip for our church, away from North Carolina. When he came back, we reconnected within two weeks and were instantly inseparable. We got married and bought our first house all within that first year of Luke being home. We have now been married for six years and have established both of our careers: Allie is a tax accountant, and Luke is a personal trainer. We love traveling, shopping, watching movies, and laughing together. No matter what life brings us, we always find laughter in the situation and tackle any problem together.

Our Home & Pets

We have a two-story brick home on a cul-de-sac that features four bedrooms and three bathrooms in beautiful North Carolina. Our neighborhood is family friendly, with many families with young children, a playground, a pool, and tennis courts. Plus, we have many shopping malls, restaurants, and parks nearby. We have a two-year-old cat named Sophie. She has a fun personality and is more dog than cat. She loves to play fetch and has learned how to sit on command. Her favorite toys include string, bottle caps, and a laser pointer, and she does not care for any actual cat toys. She is very curious about kids and loves to be involved in whatever our nieces and nephews are doing.

Our Extended Family

Both of us come from large families. Allie has one sister and two brothers, while Luke has three sisters and one brother. On Allie’s side of the family, this baby will be the first grandchild, and they are over the moon! On Luke’s side of the family, this will be the fifth grandchild and the tie-breaker between two girls and two boys. Both sides of the family are overjoyed about the expansion of our family and are ready to welcome this child in with lots of love and attention.

One of the best things about both of our families is that we always have a good time with each other and laugh a lot. We always look forward to getting together for Sunday dinner, holidays, and birthdays. We are both very fortunate that our parents live close by and we are able to have their support and help whenever we may need it.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption has always been in our plan to grow our family. We stated from early on in our relationship that we wanted to adopt because we felt like that was God’s plan for us. For several years, we tried to have a biological child; however, we were not able to do so. Allie’s aunt and uncle adopted five siblings, and we have learned from their experience what a blessing adoption is and how much more meaning it can give to your life. We cannot think of a more perfect way to grow our family by welcoming an adopted child into our lives.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
