dear expectant mother
We would like to start by offering our sincerest thanks for the bravery and strength you have demonstrated in considering adoption. We believe this decision is one of the most selfless and courageous decisions anyone could make, and we are hopeful for the chance to get to know you.
We have longed to be parents, to hold a child and shower them with love and joy. We have built what we feel is a wonderful life together, but we are missing the piece that will make our family unit whole. We make decisions together, laugh together, support each other, and push each other towards our goals. We enjoy the company of our large family. We love to embark on new adventures, and we are excited to share all of this with your child, if you should choose us. We will show him or her love, support, happiness, and the beauty of the small things in life. If you choose us, we will ensure your child has the freedom to explore their identities in a safe and loving environment. Finally, we will make sure your child knows where he or she came from, and that he or she always know the strength of their birthmother.
Please know if you choose us as adoptive parents, we will receive your baby as the most precious gift.
We were high school sweethearts and still live in the town where we grew up. We love being able to watch each other grow into our dreams and have always been there to support each other in difficult times. Amanda pursued a career in retail management after she finished college, but recently left that job to run a private family business. She loves to cook and try new recipes, read, travel, and go to festivals and events in our area. Alicia has been working as a manager in the automotive industry for the past 10 years and recently began pursuing her dream of being a certified dog trainer for working dogs. She loves animals, horseback riding, taking our dogs to the dog park, and weekend drives to the beach. We are lucky to still have family in the area and we love to spend time with them and watch our nephews play sports!
Our Home & Pets
We live in the house Amanda grew up in, so we already know it’s a great neighborhood for families. It’s a one-story ranch style home with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a good-sized front yard. It has two common areas, used for entertaining and relaxing, and has tons of space for toys and playtime. It also has a deck off the backdoor, which overlooks a large, fenced-in backyard with plenty of shade. We love to use it to grill-out and have dinner whenever the weather is nice.
We have 3 dogs; Tega, Wrigley, and Charlie who are very gentle with children. They love our nieces and nephews and run to grab their toys to play when they see them getting out of the car. We also have 1 cat, Kai. We have a lot of fun playing in the yard with them and snuggling up together in the evenings.
Our Extended Family
Our families have always been an important part of both of our lives. Alicia’s parents live within 30 minutes of our home and we get together as often as possible. Amanda’s parents and siblings live nearby as well, and we enjoy getting together for family cookouts and relaxing weekend afternoons. We have a blast spending time with our six nieces and nephews and love getting together for baseball games, afternoons at the pool, and as many birthday and holiday celebrations as possible. We also have a great relationship with Alicia’s brother and his wife, despite them living out of state, and we talk and Facetime several times a week. They have a daughter that we adore and we have made visiting them for New Years and birthdays a yearly tradition.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have been considering adoption since the first time we discussed our desires to become parents. Everything we have accomplished, both individually and in our relationship, has been with the ultimate goal of creating the best life for our future family. We have a nephew who was adopted, and have seen first-hand the blessings adoption brings; not just to the adoptive parents, but to their extended family as well. We look forward to experiencing the joys of parenthood and are confident in our ability to provide a strong, supportive, and loving family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
