dear expectant mother

First off, we would like to thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us. We cannot imagine what this journey has been like for you, but we would be beyond grateful for the opportunity to join you and your child in this experience. If you choose us, through your gift, we will be able to achieve something we cannot do alone—become parents.

We both had loving parent role models and hope to be the same. Ryan is so ready to play outside with your baby and share all the things he loves. He has purchased Looney Tunes DVDs, the Peanuts movies, and traditional holiday movies to watch with your baby. Ali has already begun to stock the baby room with books she cannot wait to read with your baby. She is excited to share her love of reading and all things nerdy. We both are so ready to introduce your baby to our family and to share all our many traditions, especially holidays. Ali loves to cook, and we will have family meals together every night. We want your child to be able to play community sports and be on the swim team. We will help nurture whatever pursuits interest your child. We know love is more important than just about anything in a family, and we promise to love your child and to see that their needs are always met and they are happy.

About Us

We have been married for eight happy years. We met through an online dating app and immediately connected through our ability to talk for hours. The past eight years have been full of fun and adventures. Ali is a fantasy book nerd who takes her students to Con every year in full cosplay. Ryan is a loving extrovert who would live outdoors if he could and who loves history documentaries. We may seem like polar opposites, but we have a truly happy and loving relationship. Ali is a high school Spanish teacher. Ryan has a degree in social work but is planning to be a stay-at-home parent. We love our time together and often go on adventures, whether hiking or traveling. We enjoy ourselves no matter what we are doing.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a beautiful two-bedroom home on a mountain in Tennessee. We are surrounded by a community that still looks out for and cares for their neighbors and where the local bakery knows you by name. There is a summer theater, great schools, many sports teams, and a community pool. We currently have two beautiful dogs. Katie is a Lab who loves Frisbees, hiking, and belly rubs. Nestor is a service dog who loves balls, cuddles, and puppy treats. Our family enjoys spending time outdoors going to the park, going on nature drives, and having picnics. We can’t wait to take your child to all the outdoor festivals, to the aquarium, bike riding in the park downtown, and on family vacations and adventures.

Our Extended Family

Family is very important to us, and our families are very large on both sides. Our families get together and socialize often. Food is a major part of getting together with our family, and we have special dinners at every holiday and birthday. We have special foods for each holiday. Grandma and Grandpa live less than one mile from us, so there will be lots of play dates.

Ryan’s family has a tradition of getting together at the beach over the summer, including all the aunts and cousins, and one of our biggest family traditions is decorating for holidays, especially Christmas. We decorate every room in the house as well as the yard. We buy a large live tree, which your child will help to pick out. Every year we choose a special family ornament to hang on the tree.

We love all holiday traditions. We love coloring eggs at Easter, carving pumpkins at Halloween, watching Christmas movies on the couch with popcorn, and eating Irish soda bread on St. Patrick’s Day. We are so ready to share all these activities and so much more with your child. We can’t wait to create so many more family traditions.

What Led Us To Adoption

For us, the road to adoption has been long and emotional. We were blessed to have a baby a year ago. Unfortunately, due to a medical condition, she wasn’t with us long. This experience just further solidified our desire to be parents. After careful consideration and lots of prayer, we decided to expand our family through adoption. We both love children and know we have a lot to offer. We are so ready to share our love and interests with your child and eagerly wait to get to know them.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
