dear expectant mother
To the possible mother of our future child, words will never be enough. The decision you are facing is life changing and yet a blessing for us in so many ways. Adoption is a brave and selfless choice. It shows the true dedication you have to this child that will be coming into the world so very soon. Writing this letter to you is surreal, and the number of emotions we have are countless.
We have shared 13 children of different races, ethnicities, and backgrounds with other mothers through foster care and know the journey any mother faces can be difficult. We have learned and adapted to everything that has come our way, and this has helped shape us into the incredible parents we know we will be to your child. We want your child to be able to experience anything they want in life, from sports and team activities to exploring the world and a quality education.
Ali was adopted, and her adoptive mother always shared with her that she was not alone in making her who she is today; her birthmother made the life she has possible. You can choose the life you want and envision for your baby. We would be so grateful to be that choice, and we so very much admire the strength you are showing in making the choice at all. You are courageous, and it is clear you have unconditional love for the life you are growing. We can’t wait to get to know you and show your baby the same kind of unconditional love, should you choose us to raise your baby.
About Us
We are Ali and Ashley. When we met in 2016, just looking for new friends, we had no idea it would lead to where we are today! We have been married for five incredible years, and in that time, we have had some really amazing experiences. We have helped over 50 dogs, puppies, and kittens find amazing new homes and have been a safe place to land for 13 children before they have reunited with their families. Our friends and family may say we are a bit ridiculous, but we say we just have a lot of love to give! In our free time, we love to travel, spend time outside, and do home improvement projects. Ashley is a firefighter and works as a systems specialist with a healthcare company. Ali is an avid gardener in the summer when not at work as a multifamily property manager. She also used to work as a photographer and now has that as an awesome hobby.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a cozy nest on an incredible piece of land. It feels like you are far out in the country when, in reality, we are in an amazing suburban neighborhood with tons of families and children all around. We even have family, including our niece and nephew, living just across the street! We have a gorgeous, fenced-in yard for our three rescue dogs to run around in, a pool, apple trees, raspberries, and a large garden that keeps us fed (and busy) all summer long. We can’t wait to raise our family here, and our school district is in the top 5% of all schools in Minnesota! Our dogs are Ty, Gabby, and Quinn, and they love when we have kids in our home. The cats, Otis and Rocky, love kiddo snuggles even more!
Our Extended Family
We both have large and close families and wouldn’t have it any other way. Ali has three brothers who can’t wait to be the “cool” uncles. Ali’s dad and stepmom have a home in Arizona and a beautiful lake home in Northern Minnesota where we got married and love to go to relax in the summer just boating, fishing, and floating. Ali and her mom are best friends who talk daily and share everything. We especially love cooking together! Ashley and her mom have a very close relationship as well, and we love going up to her cabin in the woods, especially over Christmas time, to enjoy a snowy getaway, cut our own Christmas trees, and enjoy a book by the fire.
Ashley’s dad and siblings live near us, and we are all very connected. Her brother and his family live right on our street and are an amazing support system so close by. It is awesome to get to see our niece and nephew so often too as they are growing up so quickly. Ashley’s dad is so close he even comes and mows our lawn sometimes! Our families have already been grandmas and grandpas and aunts and uncles to our foster kiddos, but they can’t wait to have those titles for real!
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has always been a part of our story, even though we didn’t end up here right away. We have been foster parents for the last several years, and while we wanted to adopt through foster care, the children we have had in our home have been lucky to be able to reunify with their families. While we stay connected with them and continue to support the families, we are ready to grow our family. Ali was adopted as an infant, and our path has continued to lead us here. We are ready to start our adoption journey now with the closing of our foster license and the gracious support of both our families.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
