dear expectant mother
Hello! We would like to start by thanking you for taking the time to get to know us and considering us to be your child’s adoptive parents. We want to assure you that your baby would be in a very supportive, loving, and nurturing home.
While this is one of the most exciting moments in our lives, we know this must be one of the toughest sacrifices you will ever make in yours. We admire and respect you so much and hope to show you we would be able to provide a wonderful home for your baby.
We look forward to getting to know you throughout this journey, and we will provide all the moral support we can. We promise to be very responsible parents who will love your baby to the fullest and teach him or her good morals and values. We appreciate the opportunity to bring your child into our family and to share all the joys of raising a child into a successful adult.
Thank you again for the wonderful gift you are considering giving us.
We are Luis, Alfred, and MariaSelica! Luis and Alfred met back in early 2012 (at a Chinese restaurant, of all places!) and have been together ever since. MariaSelica, “Mariseli,” was adopted into our family as a newborn back in 2018. As a family, we enjoy family time and traveling to explore new surroundings. We also enjoy cooking together. When Mariseli is not playing with her toys with her daddies, she is happily helping us cook from her high chair. Luis works as a maintenance supervisor. He has been there for over 12 years and manages a team of 20 individuals. Alfred works for a pharmacy as a supervisor. We currently have opposite work schedules, which is great since it allows Mariseli to always be with one of her daddies during the week.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-story home with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a finished basement. The house is in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of two elementary schools and a high school. The neighborhood has many families with children of all ages, and they can be seen playing outside from our windows. There is a pond and a park two blocks away that we walk to on a regular basis. We currently share our home with two furry children: Sheyila, a golden retriever, and Bruno, a German shepherd. We also have a large fish tank and an aquatic turtle. Every evening we take Bruno and Sheyila for long walks. We have had both dogs since they were pups and have always been around children.
Our Extended Family
Luis comes from a family of blood brothers and adoptive brothers for a total of seven. Currently he does not have any living parents, but he has a very good relationship with Alfred’s parents, who are significantly supportive, love him, and treat him as another son.
Alfred is an only child, but destiny has given him the opportunity to enjoy the interaction of brothers not by blood but by love and by marriage.
Both of us have many aunts and uncles who live within the city limits, and we share a lot of bonding times together when we can. We also receive a lot of support from relatives in other states as well as from other countries.
Mariseli is a beautiful little girl who is very outgoing, spontaneous, and always eager to learn. Believe it or not, she was a premature baby born three and a half months early. She is developing and growing at a fantastic rate, which has amazed her pediatrician. She has been cared for by both of us since birth, and we devoted our time, day and night, to visit her at the hospital until the day she was released to go home.
What Led Us To Adoption
Even though both of us spend a lot of time around our family members’ children and have loving and close relationships with them, there was a sense that something was still missing. We wanted to raise our own children together. We started researching adoption, and after months of intense research and talking, we decided to start our adoption journey. After waiting for almost 2 years, we were both already started to resign our dream of becoming parents. But on January 5, 2018, Alfred received a phone call from an agency asking if we were still interested in adopting as there was a premature baby that was lovingly placed for adoption. That same weekend we met Mariseli’s birth family; we hit it off wonderfully. After meeting us, they knew Mariseli would be loved with our hearts and souls, and taken care of. She has been such a blessing, we can’t wait to love and welcome another baby into our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
