dear expectant mother

Just knowing you are reading this makes our hearts swell. We are overjoyed you are considering us to love your baby. Every day, we walk by the empty bedroom next to ours dreaming it will soon be home to a new member of our family. Please know that if you choose us, your baby will be raised in a stable and loving home. Your baby will have two dads who will run around with them in the backyard, cheer at their sports games, and hold their hand as they meet Mickey Mouse for the first time. They will have two grandmothers—one Jersey grandma who will teach them to cook matzo ball soup and one Kentucky mamaw who will teach them to make biscuits and gravy. Your baby will grow up with the opportunity to go to college if they want and to follow their dreams, whatever those dreams may be.

Maybe you’re thinking, “What makes these guys special?” We know you likely have a lot of families to choose from. Working in education, Alex can guide your child to excel in school. As a counselor, Matt can show your child what it means to be emotionally healthy and live wholeheartedly. We’re well prepared to welcome a baby into our lives, but even more importantly, we want nothing more than to give our everything to your child. If you decide we are the right fit, our home and hearts are open.

About Us

We’re Matt and Alex. We’re a fun-loving couple from Florida who are excited to welcome a baby into our family. We like to do adventurous things like traveling and exploring the outdoors, but we also like a quiet night at home cooking and watching a movie. One week we might be in Hawaii climbing an inactive volcano, and the next we may be eating pizza on the couch. We have pretty interesting jobs too. Matt is a licensed clinical social worker. He works in an outpatient clinic as a counselor, helping people with mental health and substance use problems. Alex is an administrator at a college for students with learning disabilities. He directs a program that helps students transition into college and prepares them for success.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a five-bedroom home on a cul-de-sac in Florida. We have plenty of space to play and to host family and friends. Our home has a pool and a big backyard, and we cannot wait to teach our child how to swim! We also have a cat named Jackson. We have annual passes to Disney World, and we are excited to share that magic with our child. We live in a town that is full of lakes, parks, and playgrounds, with community events happening regularly.

Our Extended Family

We have supportive families that are just as excited to welcome a child as we are. Matt has fond memories growing up on a 300-acre farm in Kentucky. We are looking forward to exploring the farm with the whole family like Matt did when he was a kid. Christmas is especially important to Matt’s family, and it’s not uncommon to have 20 people all under the same roof at Christmastime. Matt’s sister has a three-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl, who have already decided what games they want to play with the baby.

Alex has a fun-loving family that always has a special activity planned when we come to visit. We spend every Thanksgiving with Alex’s family in New Jersey. Alex and his mom spend all day preparing for Thanksgiving dinner, and he can’t wait to show our child the family recipe book that was passed down to him from his grandmother. Alex’s sister is excited to be an aunt, and Alex’s mom and dad are thrilled to welcome their first grandchild into the family. Even though our families live somewhat far away, we visit them and they visit us multiple times a year.

What Led Us To Adoption

Early in our relationship, we knew we wanted a family. Families come in all shapes and sizes, and we know all we need is love. After watching videos of adoption success stories and seeing adoptive families in our community, we decided adoption was the way we would like to build our family. We will work hard to provide a loving home and safe environment a child can thrive in.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
