dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
If you were to choose us, we would be so honored to raise your baby and would love them with all of our hearts. It would be the greatest blessing to share our love and that of our families with them.
We are most excited about the everyday moments: bedtime stories, trips to the park, teaching them to read, and seeing what they are interested in as they explore the world. We promise to love your baby unconditionally and to help them grow into a happy, healthy, and fulfilled adult.
We also have a community of incredible people who are so excited for us to be parents, and we want to assure you your baby will have loving parents and a community of aunts, uncles, cousins, family friends, and loved ones who support them, adore them, and will be there to help us grow together as a family. We know parenthood is challenging, but we are ready to meet those challenges as a team and will use our network of friends and family as resources to navigate the ups and downs.
We are Alexa and Chris from California. We met in 2010 as students at a university, and as cliche as it sounds, we have been in love ever since. We like to think of ourselves as loving, intelligent, and responsible. We feel fortunate that both of our careers allow us to give back to our communities. Chris enjoys his career as a crime data analyst, and as a professor, Alexa is able to take summers and breaks off.
Our home is a four-bedroom, two-story house in a close-knit neighborhood. We use two of the bedrooms as home offices and one as the master bedroom. The final room will be the perfect nursery as it is right next door to our bedroom. We have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of play space. We love to spend time in our living room playing board games or listening to music together. Our neighborhood is safe and in one of the top school districts in northern California with several parks within walking distance. We really love the fact that our neighborhood and community are diverse. We had the privilege of living with our beloved dog Bowser for almost 10 years. He passed away recently, and we hope to add another furry family member to our home sometime soon.
Our Extended Family
One of our favorite family traditions includes Christmas with our whole family. We especially like traveling to our parents’ house in Upstate New York to celebrate surrounded by mounds of snow! This trip in particular is special because we love being with our parents and our one-year-old nephew, whom we adore.
We also love visiting Chris’s extended family in Thailand. Trips there are always special because we have such a large extended family with many cousins, aunts, and uncles. It also allows us to spend time experiencing Thai culture together.
We cherish any time we get to spend with our families. We know life is precious, and we want to celebrate life any chance we get, even if this is through regular video chats when we can’t be together in person. Since our nephew was born, our family has gotten even more excited about us becoming parents. They can’t wait to welcome another baby into the family.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are proud of and happy with the life we share together and want so much to grow our family. We have always wanted to be parents and knew when we met that we would be a great team when raising a child. When we first started talking about growing a family, the possibility of adoption was something we were always interested in for many reasons. One reason is that Chris has a genetic disorder we would not want to risk passing along to a biological child. Also, Alexa worked with children in foster care and, since then, has felt passionate about adopting a child. We believe this is an experience that is meant for us. We have a lot of love to give, and we are excited about the process and giving a child a loving home while making our family complete.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
