dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your courage in making this decision. We hope that in learning more about us, you feel confident in any choice you make. We’re excited to be loving and devoted dads and so thankful for the chance to grow and really complete our family.
We are most hopeful about celebrating and sharing all the little joys and struggles that make life worth living. From reading bedtime stories to traveling the globe, we will spend our lives helping your child learn how special they are and how beautiful the world can be. We love to laugh and are excited for someone who will laugh (or roll their eyes) at all of our silly jokes and songs. Most importantly, if you choose us, your child will have two committed parents who love them unconditionally and are there for them every step of the way.
Thank you again for learning more about us. We are honored and humbled by your consideration. We want you to know that a child would mean everything to us. We promise everything we can give so they can have a life full of opportunity, support, and love.

About Us
We are a fun and loving couple who balance new experiences with cherished traditions. We met while out with friends in 2011, and it was essentially love at first sight. We were married in the summer of 2017 surrounded by our family and dearest friends. Alex is a middle school science teacher and has taught for 15 years. He’s looking forward to sharing his curiosity, love for learning, music, and silly humor. Tom is a data scientist who loves solving puzzles, and he mostly gets to work from home. He’s excited to share his cooking skills (and fresh veggies from our home garden). We both love traveling and adventure but spend most of our nights hanging out at home with our two dogs.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a major city and love the diversity, culture, and amenities that come with it. Our four-bedroom home is on a quiet, tree-lined street and close to wonderful parks, schools, and museums. We are always on outings with our two “gentle giant” dogs, whether to a local park, an outdoor patio, or the beach! We love spending time in our kitchen cooking meals together, gardening in our yard, or relaxing on the deck while enjoying the sun and skyline. Our home and hearts have plenty of space to grow as a family.
Our Extended Family
Alex is one of four children, and Tom is one of three. We are close with our families and all the love and joyful activity that entails.
Alex’s extended family loves to get together to celebrate holidays or just enjoy a weekend of fun. All of them live within one hour’s drive, so visits happen often. Between his two brothers and one sister, there are four nieces, one nephew, and nearly 20 first cousins! A favorite family tradition is hand-making Polish food the day after Thanksgiving. Everyone of all ages finds ways to help, and the day really brings us all together and kicks off the season’s holidays.
We frequently visit Tom’s parents and stepparents as well as his siblings or host them when they come to town. Tom’s brother and sister live on opposite coasts of the U.S., while his parents live a short drive away. We’re grateful to get lots of time with them, whether it’s skiing in the mountains or hiking in the Pacific Northwest.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are very fortunate to have a loving and supportive network of family and close friends. Being uncles to six nieces and one nephew (and counting!) helped confirm what we had already known: We are ready to build a family. We researched many options and kept being drawn back to adoption. The idea of sharing our love and opening our hearts and home as we become parents is a natural fit for our values. We are so excited to become dads and to build a lifetime of new memories, experiences, and traditions with our growing family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
