We are blessed to have your consideration to be parents to the most precious gift. We know that you have difficult decisions ahead of you, but know that we are thinking you. If you choose us as adoptive parents for your child, we promise to parent with love and to teach compassion and selflessness. We know that true happiness comes from loving others.
Though we cannot imagine the decision you are making, if you choose us, trust that we will devote our lives to your child’s safety and success. You are strong, and throughout this experience we will be your support.
We dream of giving the most meaningful life possible to a child we welcome into our family. If you choose us as adoptive parents, know that we respect the fact that you will not be giving your child to us, but instead, you will be choosing us for your child. Your baby will be so loved by family and friends. They are looking forward to sharing and creating happy memories. We will serve as encouragers and cheerleaders, counselors and coaches, joke-tellers and craft-makers, and we will love your child unconditionally every day of our lives.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us. If you choose, we look forward to the opportunity to get to know you and to share a few smiles as we talk about the life to come.
We met in the summer of 2012 through a mutual friend. Our relationship grew from friendship to love quickly, and we couldn’t stand the idea of being apart. We were married in a park surrounded by our family and friends in 2015, and we recently bought a house that backs up to that same park.
Alex works as a financial advisor and serves on the board for the United Way. Ashley teaches high school Spanish and sponsors a community outreach club. If you choose us, we hope to teach your child Spanish and spend time teaching compassion for others through volunteering.
Ashley loves reading, jogging with the dog, and volunteering at the animal shelter. Alex enjoys wood-working and tinkering in the garage. He also enjoys watching a good movie. Together, we love visiting new places, trying new foods, exploring the outdoors, playing games with friends and family, and being with our dog.
Our Home & Pets
We are fortunate enough to live in a small town near a big city, which provides a slower-paced lifestyle, and yet has everything we could ever want to do nearby. Going to the city to watch baseball games is one of our favorite summer activities. The fact that our neighborhood backs up to a park gives us great places to hike, ride bikes, fish, and play disk golf. We both love our house because we have space for our family to grow inside and there’s room to run outside. We enjoy having coffee in our sunroom in the morning and watching the sunset there in the evenings.
Our Extended Family
We feel most at home when we are with family. Ours is a very tight-knit group. Ashley’s mother and stepfather live 15 minutes away and they have just retired. They are hopeful to be able to share their new free time with a grandchild. Ashley’s sister and her husband live a few hours away, where they plan to start their family. Ashley’s father and stepmother live in a country house with a lake where we spend time fishing and swimming.
Alex has younger siblings who live nearby. We see a few of his family members at church on Sundays. Alex has several aunts and uncles and many cousins who value family support above all. They are a wonderful support system for us.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have been so excited to share our lives with a child, but the way in which we would become parents has not always been clear. Ashley has a genetic disorder that makes it very difficult to carry a baby. We’ve had our share of fertility treatments and failed pregnancies, but adoption has always been at the forefront of our minds. We spend a lot of time volunteering in the United States and in Central and South America with Ashley’s job. Working with children is such a special opportunity. We’d love the chance to build our family. We are hopeful to finally become the family we imagine.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
