dear expectant mother
Thank you for considering choosing us to love and care for your baby. We know this is a very difficult decision for you and want to express our admiration for the strength it takes to consider this path. We understand this is a life-changing decision for you, and we want you to know you will be changing our lives too. Your courageous and selfless decision to make an adoption plan gives our family an amazing gift we cannot give ourselves: a second child and sibling to love endlessly.
Your baby will always know what an amazing mom you are and how much love you have for them. We are open to whatever relationship you desire to have with us and your baby. We would like our adopted child to know who their birth family is, their story, and where they came from and let them know there are so many people who love them and care for them.
Our main goal is to raise your baby with encouragement, adventure, and honesty. We will embrace your child in our family, support their dreams, and love them unconditionally. We are incredibly hopeful and endlessly excited about welcoming a beautiful new baby into our lives and expanding our family. Thank you for considering us!
Love,
Addison & Bernadette
About Us
Our life together started in the fourth grade. Addison was new to Bernadette’s school and classroom. He was very quiet, but once we got talking, we became good friends. Due to different break schedules, we lost touch in junior high but became great friends again during our sophomore year in high school. After high school, we started working together, grew closer as friends, then started dating. We married in 2010 after ten years of dating, and we still enjoy doing things together. Addison is hardworking and outgoing and loves sports. Bernadette is also hardworking, loves to spend time and travel with her family and friends, and loves going to sporting events. When at home, we spend time with our baby girl and our dogs, watching sports and TV shows, or just hanging out outside in our backyard.
Our Home & Pets
We live in what used to be a small town in California but is quickly growing. Our house is on one of the main streets, with lots of trees and pretty much in the middle of town. We have a small amusement park about ten minutes from our house, which caters to toddlers up to 12 years old. Our neighborhood is great, and the neighbors are even better. We have a few parks and schools within walking distance of our house. We have three Yorkies: Bailey (mom), Guinness (dad), and Maddie (daughter). Bailey is the most laid back and loves to snuggle, Maddie is a licker, and Guinness is mellow. They all have been really great and accepting of our daughter, who is now 20 months.
Our Extended Family
Addison is the youngest of five kids, three boys and two girls. His dad lives just outside of town on a farm with Addison’s oldest brother and his family. Addison’s mom passed away five years ago. The family loves to get together for family dinners or special holidays and gather at his mom’s gravesite on her birthday or anniversary date.
Bernadette is the youngest of three girls. Her middle sister has a daughter, and her oldest sister is married with three children and a grandchild. The family loves to get together and watch all of the kids play together at Nana’s and Papa’s house. Bernadette has a huge extended family since her father is one of ten children and her mom is one of nine children; there are lots and lots of cousins. Celebrating holidays, birthdays, and special events is very important, especially with her grandma.
Our Adoption Story
Our adoption story started off a bit rocky but ended perfectly. We didn’t let a lot of people in on our plans to adopt right away. It wasn’t because we were ashamed; it was more because we were scared of what the process would be like. When we did let everyone in on our adoption “secret,” we got so many compliments and heartwarming congratulatory comments. Some even asked if we could talk with them about our process and experience. We are very happy with the outcome and couldn’t be more in love with our daughter. We are excited for Olivia to have a sibling.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
