dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We do not know you yet, but we hope this helps you to know a little bit more about us. We are a loving and growing transracial family built through adoption and biology. The most important thing to us is our family and making those we love feel valued, seen, and cared for. We hope we can help you feel those things as you get to know us. We have so much love for you already and pray for your happiness every day.
We believe the love you have for your baby is unlike any other. Your strength and dedication is special, and we know it will be passed on to your baby. Because of you, we may have the opportunity to live a life better than we imagined and create memories as a family of five. We believe as families grow, love multiplies and never divides. We hope by growing our family, you also feel included in it. Adoption has already been a blessing to our family, and we take that honor very seriously.
We can’t wait to surround a baby with love and attention. Susie practices her baby care skills on her dolls daily, and we believe Scott will thrive in his role of older brother. You are a blessing to our family, and we hope you see something in us that may remind you a little of yourself. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your consideration.
Adam and Sally
Our names are Adam and Sally, and we live in beautiful Florida. We are parents to Susanna and Scott. Sally is a stay-at-home-mom. She taught second grade before the kids were born and hopes to go back to teaching once they are in school. Her favorite days are spent with Susie and Scott at the neighborhood park or playing in the backyard. Sally spends her free time reading, running, and playing soccer. Adam helps manage a homebuilding company and has a flexible schedule. His favorite hobbies are cooking and playing board games with family and friends. As a family, we love to stay active, work on creative projects, and visit Disney World.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom, ranch-style house in a gated community surrounded by lakes. Our two small dogs, Tuc and Nala, love to lay out and play in our gated backyard. Although we love where we live now, we are excited to expand our living space as we grow our family. We are currently building a new home about 15 miles away that will be completed in the spring. Our new house will be a two-story home with five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The kids will have a playroom upstairs and a large wooded backyard. The new neighborhood is racially and ethnically diverse, has a community pool and a neighborhood park, and is a short walk to a highly rated elementary school.
Our Extended Family
We are thankful to have family that live close to us. Sally’s twin sister lives in our town with her husband and their two-year-old son. Our kids play together several times a week and take swimming lessons together in the summer. We also take turns hosting Sunday dinner every week. Adam’s parents will also live close by soon because they are moving to Florida this spring! Adam’s parents are active grandparents and enjoy taking beach trips with us.
The other half of our families live in Wisconsin. This includes Sally’s parents and two other sisters as well as Adam’s sister and her family. All of them visit Florida several times a year. We love to go to Disney World when they visit us. Adam’s sister and her husband have a son who is 18 months old. They are hoping to add to their family this year as well. Last year was the first time we hosted Christmas, and we look forward to doing it again this year for our families. Our tradition includes tamales on Christmas Eve and chocolate chip pancakes on Christmas morning. We can't wait to see our traditions continue to grow with our family!
Our Adoption Story
When we decided it was the right time for us to start a family, we were having trouble getting pregnant. We went to several doctors, but there were no conclusions why it wasn't happening. Now we truly believe it’s because we were meant to be parents through adoption first. We signed up with Angel Adoption in May 2018, we matched in late August, and Susie was born in September. Susie's birthmother, biological family, and our extended families surrounded her on the day she was born. We have learned adoption is unique to each person involved, but one feeling everyone shares is love. Our family and hearts have grown so much in the past couple years because of adoption. We can’t wait to adopt again.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
