Dear Birthmom

We cannot thank you enough for taking the time to consider an adoption plan for your precious baby and to consider us as adoptive parents. You are in our thoughts as you consider the best plan for you and your baby.

God, family, and community are the pillars of our current family, and we can already imagine raising your child with these as a foundation. Each night we pray for the child who might join our family. We pray that you have peace with this life-changing decision. If you choose us as adoptive parents, we will love and support your baby and we will honor you as part of our family.

We hope we can one day tell your baby about his or her strong, beautiful, and brave birthmom.

About Us

We are Adam and Ivana. We met at our first jobs out of college and immediately hit it off. Our first date was along the Naperville Riverwalk in freezing weather, with hot chocolates in hand. Adam works as an Underwriting Associate at an insurance company and he enjoys all sports (but Go Packers!), as well as playing soccer and working in the yard. Ivana works as a Sales Manager at a furniture store. She loves to cook, decorate, and go for bike rides. We have been together for seven years. We’ve been married for four years and we have a five-year-old cat, Macey. We love to travel, go to concerts and sporting events, and try new foods. Our favorite pastime includes spending time with family. We have loved our adventure together so far and cannot wait to grow our family.

Our Home & Pets

Our neighborhood has a running joke of having lifetime members. The moment we walked into our house when we wanted to buy it, we knew why and how true that saying was. A local ladies club hosts monthly get-togethers for everyone and plans great activities for all of the kids year round. Our favorite part of our home is the kitchen. We have cooked and shared so many fun meals together and with friends - that is our favorite and most relaxing pastime together! Our cat is a little shy at first, but she is a big snuggle bug. We are excited to teach our family how to play Jenga. Adam has a mean backswing in Ping Pong. Our home is walking distance to downtown, which has fun summer concerts, festivals, and great parks.

Our Extended Family

We both come from large families. Together we have 28 cousins! Our families live within 30 minutes of us. We love being close to them. Since we’ve been married, our families have merged all of our traditions to celebrate together! Our favorite is Fourth of July. We all gather at a nearby park at Adam’s grandparents home to have a fun picnic dinner and then watch the fireworks. Another favorite is Christmas. We have started to host Christmas morning for breakfast, which has been so fun for us. We were told that we would start hosting Thanksgiving soon, so that is very exciting as well! We also have a very close group of friends who basically are our family. Our favorite tradition with them is to go to a lake house in Tennessee each year to water ski, jet ski, and boat for a long weekend.

What Led Us To Adoption

We started our journey to grow our family almost three years ago. We both faced infertility, but through all those challenges, we always knew we wanted to have a family, no matter how. After much thought, prayer, and conversation, we both felt like adoption was always God's plan for us. We can’t wait to share our home and all of our love.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
