As you read our story, we want to assure you that your child will be in a safe and loving home and have a wonderful extended family.
We promise you now and always to be the best parents we can be. As you go through this process, remember that you are strong and capable. No matter your choice, we are on your side and are sending you love and support.
About Us
Our love story began when close friends introduced us in 2015. When we met, Abigail had two children from a previous marriage, and it did not take long for Luca to establish a loving relationship with them. Shortly after, we got married. We blended together perfectly and jumped right into family life. In 2020, we adopted our youngest daughter.
Luca is a construction project manager and Abigail is a family nurse practitioner. Luca is soft spoken and patient. Luca likes to ride motorcycles and scuba dive with his dad on the weekends. Abigail is caring, empathetic, loves to cook, exercise, and loves to sneak in date nights with Luca.
We enjoy family time, whether it’s swimming in our pool, movie nights, or cheering on the kids with their sports. We love watching our kids smile and laugh together at the end of each day.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a small, peaceful neighborhood in Illinois. Everyone is a friend around here. Our backyard has lots of trees and trails for the kids to adventure in. We enjoy spending free time in our pool, having sleepovers and playing with our pups. We are in a top school district which enables us to offer our children great opportunities for success.
You will find us apple picking in the fall, building snowmen in the winter, vacationing during the spring, and attending local town festivals in the summer. We also love taking annual family beach trips, especially to Florida and Mexico. One key belief we have in raising our children is for them to be well-rounded and have diverse and varied experiences.
Our Extended Family
Abigail was born in the Philippines and moved to the US during elementary school, while Luca was born in the Midwest. Blending our families and traditions together has been the biggest blessing. Abigail’s parents and younger brother live nearby. Abigail’s parents love to cook some of her favorite childhood meals for their grandkids, such as, pansit (noodle dish), spaghetti, and eggrolls. We always leave their house with full hearts, stomachs, and days worth of leftovers. The kids get so excited to see their Lola and Lolo (Filipino name for grandma and grandpa).
Luca’s parents, siblings, and great memaw are also within driving distance. He is the youngest of three siblings. We love to do family dinners with them, and Grammy is an exceptional cook. Grammy makes her famous tiramisu for Luca on his birthday. Their house is also filled with lots of toys that many other grandchildren have played with over the years! Our youngest daughter loves to go over to Memaw’s house for a surprise visit and afternoon tea party.
We are truly blessed with the network of support we have. They are all committed to sharing their love and are thrilled to welcome another child into our family.
Our Adoption Story
We have always wanted to grow our family through adoption. As we settled into our life as a family of four, we knew we were ready to start the adoption journey. Our first adoption was an experience we will forever cherish. Our birth mom chose our family knowing her child would have a loving home, opportunities to thrive, and have siblings to grow up with. We felt it in all of our hearts to want to adopt again after our first experience. We know our youngest would love a sibling close in age and in the future, someone to connect over their adoptions together. We have so much love to give as we dream about the next child that will make up our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
