dear expectant mother
I have pondered for countless hours, trying to find the perfect words to say, yet I still come up empty. It feels wrong to focus on myself when the decision you’re facing is life-altering. I truly believe you’ll find someone and feel a connection that delivers calm to your spirit and allows you to envision your child becoming part of that family; hopefully, a part of my family.
In my eyes and heart, you’re nothing shy of amazing. You’re willing to trust me with a piece of you for a lifetime. Please know that is not something I take lightly. I could share countless stories about the wonderful parents I have, the amazing support system around me, or the heartfelt desire I have to be a mommy. I could share all of that and so much more in this short letter to you, but that does not feel right in this moment. I picture you sitting, reading my words, trying to make one of the most difficult decisions you will ever have to make. In this moment, if I could come through my words, I would hug you. I would assure you that you will be known and honored. I would share with you the hundreds of ways I have dreamed about teaching my child about you, their angel.
You are brave. You are selfless. You are strong. You are an angel whom I am beyond thankful for, no matter what choice you make on this road.
I love laughter and will seize any opportunity life throws at me to make those around me laugh, too! Although my background is in education, I work as a software developer and project manager at a company owned by my father. Having the opportunity to work with my dad every day is something I truly treasure. In my free time, I love to travel with friends and experience all the world has to offer. I am a season ticket holder for the NFL and enjoy going to as many games in a season as possible. My love for sports is something I look forward to sharing with my child. I also love music of all genres, except heavy metal, so there is always something playing at home! On the weekends, you will find me playing outside with my dogs or working on a home project. Basically, I am a true southern girl at heart!
My Home & Pets
They say you should love where you live, and I absolutely love my home! Nestled on just over an acre, I get to enjoy country living without losing the amenities of a big city! The backyard is completely fenced in and provides a perfect, safe place for a little one to explore and play. At night, the sky is beaming with stars, and when it is cool, I have the perfect fire pit area for roasting s’mores! I have two spoiled fur babies whose toy basket takes over the living room! Maddie is my active girl who always wants to play fetch, and Maverick is my cuddle boy, who loves to snuggle and be petted. They both can’t wait to watch over a little one!
My Extended Family
Growing up as an only child meant most holidays were fairly small in size but abundant in love and laughter. My house was always the center of some type of party, for either our church or neighborhood friends! From an early age, I learned that entertaining gives you the opportunity to make someone else feel good and smile.
Travel was also a big part of my childhood, as my parents valued experiencing things outside of your everyday world. One of my favorite memories was celebrating my sixteenth birthday in Europe! Despite it being just myself and my parents, we laughed until our sides hurt and I was able to see so many historic places! Even today, travel is a big part of my life and something I share with those closest to me: family and friends.
I look forward to one day enlightening my own child with the beauties this world has to offer, from buildings constructed over 1,000 years ago, to the Eiffel Tower, to my favorite city: London!
What Led Me To Adoption
Looking back on my life, I truly believe the seed of adoption was always planted. I have traveled to various other countries and worked with orphanages throughout my young adult life, and each time I left it was agonizing for my soul. I wanted to take every little one home with me! As I got older and realized my life was going to take an untraditional path, I considered my two options for starting a family: IVF with a donor or adoption. There was no question which fit better. I can’t wait to be able to teach my little one about their adoption story as they grow!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
