dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We firmly believe everyone is here for a purpose. Though we don’t know how our stories will intertwine at this time, we know you and the life you’ve decided to give your child are part of a grander plan that will forever leave its mark on the world. Your selfless choice not only allows a precious new soul to be born into this world but would also hopefully allow us to realize our lifelong dream of becoming parents. This adoption journey will likely be difficult at times, but we will be here to support you in every way and are open to whatever relationship you are comfortable with moving forward. If you choose us, we can’t wait to get to know you and your story and look forward to being able to share that with your child should you entrust us to provide them with a loving home.
What we most look forward to as parents is sharing everything that is good, true, and beautiful in this world with a child. We know that all begins with you and the courageous choice you’ve made to bring a life into the world. We promise to treasure, cherish, and protect your child all the days of their life and to help them achieve even their wildest of dreams. We hope to get to know you more and understand all of your dreams for your baby. Thank you for considering our family as a home for your child. We wish you joy and peace in this journey.
About Us
We began our lives almost 1,800 miles apart; Sadie started out on a West Texas cotton farm, while Aaron grew up in suburban western New York. Luckily for Aaron, Sadie decided to move to central Pennsylvania to complete her Ph.D. program, putting her just within Aaron’s searching distance on the online dating website we were both using! We knew we were meant to be because of our shared love of the Catholic faith and desire to nurture and educate any children that would become part of our family. Aaron is passionate about his dual role as a physician and naval officer. Sadie enjoys working from home as a medical writer and looks forward to one day being a stay-at-home mom. We both love going to the beach, learning about history, and working on becoming amateur dog trainers. Sadie’s soft-spoken, calm, and light-hearted nature are the perfect balance to Aaron’s bold and fearless personality.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a beautiful lakefront neighborhood in southeastern Virginia with an easy drive to the beach. Our home has five bedrooms and three bathrooms and is just waiting to be filled with children! We even have a nursery prepared for when any of our six nieces or nephews come for a visit! Whether it’s visiting the boardwalk, kayaking on the river, or packing the football stadium on Friday nights, we live somewhere we think is truly special. Speaking of special, we also have a Shetland sheepdog named Stella who recently completed her STAR Puppy training and who Aaron hopes will be a national agility champion one day. We say Stella chose us, and she is as fun and energetic as we are.
Our Extended Family
Sadie’s family is about as German and Texan as anyone could claim to be. Her family came to Texas over 150 years ago and have been farming there ever since. Sadie has two older sisters who are married, and each have three children (all aged six and under!) The cousins love having Cousin Camp at Grandma and Grandpa’s house every summer, where Grandpa takes them for rides on his tractor and Grandma teaches them to make her famous decorated cookies. Two of our nephews are our godsons, and we frequently make the trip to Texas for births, baptisms, and birthdays. We recognize the special bond that can exist between cousins and look forward to providing that for your child.
Aaron is an only child, and his parents will be thrilled to welcome their first grandchild into the family. Aaron’s family inspired his passion for serving in the military. His family’s military service can actually be traced all the way back to the American Revolution.
While we may live far from our families, we strongly believe the Navy community is a family. We have also found a home away from home in our parish, which is filled with young families and plenty of future friends for your child.
What Led Us To Adoption
We wanted to start a family right away but soon discovered we would be unable to have biological children. While the news was disappointing, we found new hope and joy at the possibility of being called to adopt. We have both longed to have a big family and are beyond excited at the prospect of nurturing your child to become who they were made to be. Without a doubt, your child would be the absolute light of our lives. If you choose us, we can’t wait to devote ourselves to raising them to be the best person they can be.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
