dear expectant mother
Thank you. We greatly appreciate that you are taking the time to view our profile. Having been through it before, we know that the adoption process is overwhelming, emotionally and mentally. Please know that whatever decision you make, we truly hope you are left with peace in your heart.
What brings us here is that we feel our family is not yet complete. If you decide adoption is the right choice for you and your family, we can offer a lifetime of love and support for your child and the opportunity for you to be as involved as you feel comfortable. Adoption is how our family was created. Looking back now, we see a larger plan at work to bring us into each other’s lives and make us all a family.
If you would like to learn more about us, we are happy to share any information. We would love the opportunity to get to know you as well.
Aaron is currently a Vice President for a wireless retailer and enjoys snowmobiling and cheering on all the Chicago sports teams. Christy is working her dream job as a stay-at-home mom to Jocelyn and enjoys volunteering at various non-profits. We have a rescue pup named Cassie, who is a wonderful ‘big sister’ to Jocelyn; we love going for walks around the neighborhood and riding our bikes along the river trail together. As much as we love the outdoors, we also enjoy cozy evenings at home with Netflix, cuddling on the couch under a blanket. Recently, we bought a small lake house a few hours to the north, and we have already made so many wonderful family memories there. Our hope is that it remains a special place for all of the cousins as they grow up together.
Our Home & Pets
We live in the suburbs of Chicago, in a neighborhood with lots of sidewalks and trails, three separate playgrounds (one of which is right next to us), and a large park with baseball diamonds and a soccer/football field. Our house is a four bedroom, two story home with a screened-in cedar porch and a finished basement. There are all kinds of great family activities close by: water parks, amusement parks, forest preserves, children’s museums, and a beautiful biking/walking trail along the river that goes for miles.
Our Extended Family
Aaron is the oldest of three boys and is very close with his brothers. Living in the Chicago area, we often take advantage of being so close to Wisconsin to spend weekends with Aaron's family, including his mom, stepdad, and our three beautiful nieces and a nephew (who just turned a year old!).
Christy is the youngest, with two older brothers and an older stepbrother. Although her family is more spread out, Christy loves spending time with them when she can (especially when it means a trip to Florida in February!). She is very close with her mom, stepdad, and dad. She also remains close with her oldest brother and his family, including two awesome nephews.
Everyone has been so excited and supportive of our second journey through adoption, and we cannot wait to introduce a new special little one to the family.
Our Adoption Story
We were matched with our first birthmom a month before her due date. We received the miracle call close to midnight on October 15, and after frantically booking our flight we arrived at the hospital an hour-and-a-half before Jocelyn was born. We are fortunate enough to have an open adoption with both of Jocelyn’s birth parents; we send them both regular updates, including a ‘yearbook’ every Christmas, filled with pictures, and we have visits once a year. We have also built a relationship with our birth parents’ extended family and often visit them, too, when we visit. Family is family is family is how we look at it, and we could not be more grateful.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
