Dear Birthmom

We are so grateful for you and your choice to consider an adoption plan for your baby. We know this decision takes great courage and selflessness. These are attributes we would try to raise your child to have: courage, selflessness, and a willingness to make sacrifices for what they feel is right. We have so much admiration for your strength.

If you were to choose us, your baby would be the answer to our greatest hopes and dreams. We would be open to whatever relationship you would want to have with your baby and our family. Your bravery and strength already tells us you are somebody we would love to know, should that be your wish. We would certainly make sure your baby knows the story of his or her loving mother who made such a great sacrifice.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We don’t know you yet, but we are praying for you and your baby. We know you love your child, and we promise you we would love him or her as well, with everything we have and with everything we are.

About Us

We met when Eric was in town visiting his brother. We went on a date during Eric’s visit and it went so well he just never went home! Now Eric is an ordained minister and serves as the rector at our church.
Jackie is a Real Estate Manager, and volunteers with a not-for-profit housing center to provide affordable housing to people who are currently homeless. We both work hard, but our careers have a lot of flexibility, enabling us to make our family the center of our lives.

Jackie is bold, strong, and assertive. She enjoys experimenting with recipes and trying new things; she always has to try a new flavor of ice-cream! Alternatively, Eric is calm and quiet, but has a silly streak. He loves to stay up late reading and knows cookies and cream is always the best flavor of ice-cream. In our spare time, we love to travel with our son and make a point to stop by the farmer’s market every Saturday morning. We especially love the homemade donuts!

Our Home & Pets

We live in a warm, bungalow-style home. It has a basement with lots of space, which makes for a great playroom! Our home is in a wonderful and friendly neighborhood and is located right across the street from a great park. There are often block parties going on and all of the parents and kids will get together to play. Our cat, Nell, loves to sleep next to our front windows where she can lay in the sun and watch the birds outside. When we’re not at the park or in the playroom, we spend a lot of time in our fenced-in backyard.

Our Extended Family

Eric has two brothers and one sister, and Jackie has two sisters. Between us, we have five nieces and five nephews! Your baby would definitely grow up with lots of cousins to love and play with. Jackie and her sisters are all incredibly close and enjoy almost daily phone calls to catch up. Eric and his siblings are also quite close. Family gatherings often include long and loud rounds of board game competitions. Our parents are wonderful grandparents to our nieces and nephews and enjoy attending soccer games and dance recitals for all their grandchildren.

We are fortunate to also enjoy a tremendous church family. Weekends and holidays almost always include gatherings with members of our church, demonstrating we are born into some families, and other families we are lucky enough to choose.

What Led Us To Adoption

We always thought adoption might be how our family would grow. We talked about it even before we got married. By the time we found out it would be difficult for us to have a second pregnancy, we had many friends who had adopted. Seeing their beautiful families gave us encouragement that another child could join our family through adoption. Each of us is close to our siblings, and we want our son to have that relationship that is unlike any other. We want more than anything to have another child who we can give our whole hearts to.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
