dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We can’t begin to imagine what you are going through or the emotions you are feeling. And we are profoundly grateful that you are considering us as a family for your baby. They will be raised in a house full of delight and joy, and they will be the joy and delight of every day.
We want to assure you that your baby will be surrounded by love and opportunity. We are so excited to hold and nurture them, read them stories, play with them, and help them discover and explore their world. We will offer them adventures and travel, good food, and the support to pursue their gifts and talents. We will teach them the value of education and give them the opportunity to go to college.
We want to offer the experiences we enjoyed as kids, from camping to spending time with grandparents, playing in the ocean, or getting messy in the kitchen. We’re excited to discover new things to enjoy together as a family. We will value the culture your baby comes from and will include that culture in our life as a family. We promise to be there through the hard times as well as the good and to love them with all we are.

About Us
Hi there! We are Topher and Rose, Colorado kids who moved back home to be closer to family. We met while partner dancing, fell in love, and married six months later. After eleven years, we are even more in love and ready to grow our family. Rose is a preschool teacher and loves helping her kiddos develop. She enjoys gardening, sewing baby quilts, and snuggling our kitties. She is funny, kind, and the sweetest person Topher has ever known. Topher works for a local coffee company and manages one of their retail locations. He loves trail running, reading science fiction, and writing poetry. He is full of boundless enthusiasm and kindness. Both of us are passionate about our work and the impact it has on the communities we serve. We still love dancing together. We spend much of our time with both sides of our families, cooking, eating, and celebrating life.
Our Home & Neighborhood
We live in a beautiful neighborhood in Colorado with lots of old trees and friendly neighbors. Our house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big backyard with an apple tree, a pear tree, and lots of flowers. We also have snuggly cats. We are walking distance from an elementary school, a park, a swimming pool, a library, and lots of open space. We are also a short drive to a metropolitan city with major league sports teams, museums, and live music. We are close to beautiful mountain hikes and a ski area!
Our Family & Friends
We both come from very tight-knit families, and family is still very important to us. Our parents and all but one of our sisters (Topher has two sisters, and Rose has three) live nearby, and we get together all the time. We often celebrate together, from birthday dinners and Christmas mornings to Chinese New Year and New Year’s Day gumbo. We go on family camping trips and every few years a big family trip, most recently to Hawaii. We have weekly movie nights and help with each other's gardens or big projects. We often get together just for a meal at each other’s homes, to make a batch of cookies, or to watch a football game with homemade popcorn.
We both grew up with lots of family nearby and have great memories of overnights with grandparents, sitting with an aunt or uncle at dinner, and playing games with cousins. We look forward to being able to offer that same sense of love and family to a child. A child in our home will know they have so many people who love them.
Adoption in Our Lives
We are so excited for the opportunity to adopt! Adoption has always been a part of Rose’s life—two of her younger sisters were adopted, and she’s always felt so lucky to have them as family. Topher was also touched by adoption, having been adopted by his grandfather—a relationship that brought stability and joy to both of them. We’re simply thrilled for the chance to grow our family and can’t wait to welcome a little one (and those tiny toes!) into our lives.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
