From the very beginning of our relationship, adoption has been our first choice for growing our family. It’s not a second option or a backup plan—it has been in our hearts since we first started planning our lives together. Everything we’ve sacrificed and accomplished has been in anticipation of this. We truly believe the life we’ve worked so hard to create has brought us right here, to this moment, and to you.

Our Love Story
Our story began nineteen years ago in Arizona’s busiest hospital. At twenty-three, Matthew was adjusting to life after serving in the Air Force and working as a medic in the Emergency Department. Tia, just eighteen, was a freshman at Arizona State University, working one of the only hospital jobs available at her age—transporting patients through the halls.
It wasn’t a magical or dramatic beginning—just two young people finding their way in the world. But when we met in the ER, something clicked. Neither of us was looking for love, yet what we found was a connection that felt natural and effortless. From that moment on, our lives began to weave together as we leaned on each other’s strengths, encouraged one another, and built a foundation of trust and respect.
Through every season—celebrations and challenges alike—our love has remained constant and steady. What started as a chance encounter has grown into a lifelong journey of love, growth, and adventure—one we can’t wait to continue through the eyes of a child.
Our Home & Neighborhood
Step outside our front door and you’ll likely hear the sound of children laughing. Our street is full of families from all walks of life, with neighbors who look out for one another. Kids ride bikes, borrow tools, and fill the block with energy and joy.
Our neighborhood feels like a small town tucked inside a big city. Within walking distance are parks, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and even an aviary. Just behind our home is a popular park—the perfect place for little ones to play, explore, and grow.
We’re also fortunate to have another home in Arizona, which offers the same sense of comfort while giving us the gift of visiting family and enjoying a change of scenery. Both homes are filled with love, laughter, and community, and we can’t wait to share them with a child.
Our Family & Friends
Being with Tia’s family feels like stepping into a place you’ve always belonged. Her mom, Rhonda, is graceful and composed, with a quiet gift for making every gathering feel effortless. She’s the one planning games, cooking something amazing, and ensuring everyone has what they need before they even ask.
Tia’s four brothers each have their own personalities, but all share the same mix of artistry, intelligence, and athleticism. They fill a room with music, laughter, and just the right amount of friendly competition. When they visit, the house comes alive in a way that’s hard to describe but unforgettable once you’ve experienced it.
Our closest friends and extended family fit seamlessly into this circle, showing up for the fun moments and the hard days alike. This is the world we’ve cultivated—a community grounded in love, joy, and support—and it’s a world we cannot wait to share with a child.
What We Love About Each Other
We’ve loved each other for more of our lives than we haven’t. Tia is quietly determined, brilliant, and beautifully unique—the kind of perfect found in authenticity, not flawlessness. Watching her grow into her fullest potential has been a privilege, and her tender heart makes her human in the most beautiful way. Every challenge she faces only deepens her strength, and I’m humbled that she continues to choose me to stand beside her.
From the beginning, Matt’s loyalty, warmth, and genuine heart stood out. He is a true protector who gives wholly to those he loves. He celebrates my dreams, matches my excitement, and always finds ways to brighten hard days. Thoughtful and approachable, he has a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. He is my safe place, my encourager, and my partner in every adventure.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
