dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for the extraordinary courage, love, and strength it takes to even consider the path you are walking. We cannot imagine how difficult this decision must be, but we want you to know we already admire you deeply. We are praying for you and your baby, and we hope you feel seen, respected, and loved throughout this journey.
This past June, we celebrated ten years of marriage filled with laughter, grace, and growing in faith. We have two children—a daughter (6) and a son (4)—and our hearts are open and ready to grow our family through adoption. We love adventures to theme parks, mountains, and beaches. We also treasure time with our extended family nearby, where board games, horseback rides, and swimming are routine delights.
Our children are thrilled about welcoming a new sibling. Our daughter has a list of things she plans to teach the baby, while our son is ready with silliness and hugs. Their bond is one of our greatest joys, and we know they will welcome a new baby with love. We are deeply rooted in our Christian faith. We believe every child is a gift from God and that families are made in many beautiful ways—including adoption.
Please know that if you choose us, we will raise your child in a home filled with love, laughter, faith, and security. They will grow up knowing their story and the deep love behind your decision.
With love,
Kyle & Suzi
Our Love Story
Our story began in college, where we both served as Resident Advisors. Working late-night rounds and sharing countless movie nights, we quickly became part of a close-knit group of friends. Suzi stood out with her creativity and her knack for keeping Kyle organized. It took Kyle a while to realize she liked him, though the fact that she bravely rescued his coffee pot after it had grown a small ecosystem was a clue.
Kyle caught Suzi’s attention with his ability to make her laugh and blush bright red. She loved how different he was from her—whether quoting a movie she had never seen or simply being silly. By the time we finally held hands during a Harry Potter marathon, everyone else already knew we were a couple, even if we had not admitted it to ourselves.
In 2014, Kyle proposed with a hidden geocache treasure box. Suzi laughed so hard she could barely say yes. We married in June 2015, and life since has been full of faith, adventure, laughter, and love.
Our Home & Neighborhood
Our home is a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath two-story in a quiet rural neighborhood with a good size yard where the kids love to play. Our home is full of joyful chaos: kitchen dance parties, tee-ball in the yard, and toys that mysteriously multiply overnight. We love a good movie night whether it is snuggled up on the couch with our cat, Tuts, or out in the yard on the big inflatable screen! We love to entertain family and friends – eating and playing games around our dining room table that Suzi’s Grandfather built and Kyle refinished for our home. We live very close to the local splash pad, preschool and our church, and are only about 30 minutes from the city.
Our Family & Friends
We are blessed to be surrounded by a large, close-knit network of family and friends. Both sides of our family live just minutes away, and our children adore spending time with their cousins, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
With Suzi’s family we enjoy going to the beach, catching a ball game and the occasional trip to Great Wolf Lodge. On Christmas Eve, Suzi’s mom always gives the family matching pajamas to wear to her house on Christmas morning. Every fall we travel to the mountains with Kyle’s family to visit Dollywood. Most weekends, family game nights with Kyle’s family stretch late into the evening.
Our extended family shares our values of faith, kindness, and togetherness, and they are eager to welcome another child with open arms. Beyond family, we have a strong circle of lifelong friends from church, school, and work who are like family to us. They are generous with love, laughter, and support, and we know our child will grow up in a community where they are celebrated, encouraged, and surrounded by people who truly care.
Our Favorite Adventures
When we travel, it’s an adventure! We have relived a day in the life of settlers in Jamestown, chased butterflies in Dollywood and marveled at the purple mountain majesty from Pikes Peak summit.
One of our most memorable adventures was our Disney World trip in 2023. Day two of the trip took a sudden and dramatic turn when Suzi and the kids came down with the flu. Though we thought the trip was over, we missed only one park day and were able to finagle a return trip in 2024 thanks to a cast member who sprinkled some pixie dust on our missed park day. The kids even got their first hair cuts at the barber shop on Main Street that week!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
