dear expectant mother
Thank you so much for reading our story and considering us! It may sound strange, but you are the most courageous, selfless, and admirable woman we know, and yet we have not met. We hope you feel supported and loved and offer all the same to you during this brave journey you are undertaking.
We have experienced, like you have, that sometimes life does not always go as planned, but we hope you find peace in your decision knowing that if you choose us, your baby will be raised in a loving, happy, understanding, and stable home. It would be an honor to have the responsibility of ensuring your child becomes the best version of themselves, and we will support them as they do so. We are not perfect, but we promise your child will learn about love, respect, determination, fun, hard work, and enjoying life to its fullest.
We have thought for a long time about what it will be like to meet you and to learn of your hopes and dreams for your child. We hope we get that opportunity. We cannot fully articulate how much gratitude we hold in our hearts, and you can be assured that the gift you will give us will never be taken for granted. You and your child are in our thoughts!
We are a loving, caring, happy, and down-to-earth couple! Steph is outgoing and organized, has great ideas, and is kind. While she prefers to live in the moment, Mike is more laidback and goes with the flow. Mike is artistic, creative, patient, and extremely optimistic. When Mike is not working as a supervisor for a popular wholesale store, he loves to draw and paint oil paintings. Steph enjoys baking cakes and sweets for birthdays/special occasions when not working as a global mobility program manager for an investment firm. We both love being active outdoors, hanging out at home watching movies (We are avid Disney and Harry Potter fans!), going for day trips, going for walks in our family-oriented neighborhood, and taking hikes at local parks with the pups. We definitely enjoy cooking together. We also love all sports, with baseball being our favorite. Go Yankees!
Our Home & Pets
It was a big change moving to Texas from Connecticut! However, we found a wonderful, safe, and cozy community where children can be seen riding their bikes or playing with their friends. Since we are passionate about education, we live in an area that has a top-rated school district. We are located near major cities yet close to the beach, countryside, and fun family activities and attractions. Our four-bedroom home is our oasis with a fenced-in backyard and pool. We love our two dogs and a cat: Winchester (6-year-old black mouth cur mix), Charlie (2-year-old black mouth cur mix), and Binx (3-year-old tuxedo cat).
Our Extended Family
Family means everything! All of our family lives in Connecticut with the exception of two cousins who live five minutes away and very close friends who have become family over the past six years in Texas. We FaceTime, text, and talk daily with all of our relatives, and we visit Connecticut every chance we are able; our family visits us quite frequently.
Mike has a very small family as he is an only child. They speak often and love to visit our home. He has aunts, uncles, and cousins he grew up with and who remain very close.
Steph remains in constant communication with her parents. She was an only child for ten years until her brother was born, who was followed by her sister a year after that. Stephanie’s sister adopted our nephew, (whom we playfully call Bub), is a joy to spoil. We go apple picking in the fall at a local orchard in Connecticut. It is tradition to celebrate the New Year holiday “Texas style” with Stephanie’s many cousins. During the holidays, we have a Greek cookie-making marathon with Steph’s cousins who live in Texas and ship them out to the rest of the family in Connecticut.
What Led Us To Adoption
It has always been our dream to start a family. After experiencing infertility issues and failing to get pregnant, we felt lost for a time. However, we have a lot of love to give and a great home we can’t wait to share with a little one. We are very excited to open our home and our hearts to adoption. The decision to adopt has brought a new sense of positivity and purpose in our lives. We’re hopeful it will make our dreams of starting a family a reality. We have seen all of the remarkably positive impacts of adoption as our nephew was adopted, Steph’s best friend was adopted, and Mike’s father and aunts were all adopted by Mike’s grandmother.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
