dear expectant mother

Dear Angel Mom,

We would first like to thank you for considering us and taking the time to read our letter. While adoption and infertility have been an emotional journey for us, we cannot begin to imagine the difficult decision you are making and the uncertainty that follows. We are so excited for the opportunity to adopt a little boy or girl of any background or ethnicity.

A little more about us: We have been happily married for twelve years and still live with the same spark as when we first met. Sarah works as a nurse at a local hospital; she specializes in operative care, infant baby care, cardiac care, and hospital informatics and technology. Luke works as an educational support staff for a child advocacy law firm that assists children with special needs and learning impairments.

Our home is warm, welcoming, and diverse, and we would be excited to shower a little one with a life of love and happiness. We are lucky to have an extremely supportive, local family who also awaits a child with equal excitement and joy. We feel very blessed to have this support and cannot wait to share their love with a little one as well.

We wish you the best throughout this process, and we sincerely hope to hear from you.

With blessings and gratitude,
Sarah & Luke

About Us

We first met in the third grade, but little did we know we would become the best of friends and get married soon after high school. We have now joyfully been together for 12 years and love our families, careers, and time with each other. Together we share interests in traveling, learning, and spending time with friends. We also are big video game lovers, which we enjoy playing to kick back and relax on the weekends. Outside of these interests, we work as a nurse (specializing in operative care, cardiac care, and infant care) and an education support staff member (working in child advocacy). We now hopefully await to be blessed with a child to grow our family and share all the love we have to give.

Our Home

We live in a cozy, split-level home in a suburban area of western Pennsylvania. Our favorite highlights of the neighborhood include community events, a local pool, multiple parks, and a playground very close to home. Additionally, we have a wonderful school district that offers diverse subjects, languages, sports, and instrument lessons. We have lived in our neighborhood for the past seven years together, and it has proven to be very safe with friendly neighbors and close family!

Our Extended Family

Our family is loving and cozy. Our future child will have a great-grandma, a great-grandpa, two grandmas, one grandpa, and three uncles—all excited about and supportive of the adoptive process. Our extended family also offers many aunts, uncles, and cousins, but sometimes there are too many to count! All of them would be ecstatic to meet a new family member!

Our biggest and most loved tradition is spending the holidays together for lunch or dinner (sometimes both lunch and dinner). We also enjoy taking vacations to New England or to the beach together down south, where we can relax and swim on the warm shores. Our next big vacation plan is for Disney World, which we are excited to potentially share with a little one as well!

What Led Us To Adoption

Our main reason for pursuing adoption is due to the inability to conceive as a couple on our own. We attempted independent fertility treatments and saw multiple specialists, and in the end, our reason for not being able to conceive is unknown. While the road to adoption has been emotional, we would not change it for anything. We now know more than anything that we would love the opportunity to adopt, and we are excited to be able to welcome a child into our loving home!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
