dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We've been struggling with how to begin this letter, because the truth is—we can't imagine what you may be going through right now. What we do know is that considering adoption takes immense strength, love, and courage, and we want you to know how deeply we respect and admire you for that. While we may come from different places and experiences, we hope this letter gives you a sense of who we are, the kind of parents we hope to be, and the life we would be honored to give your child.
We're committed to guiding a child through life with patience, honesty, and unwavering support. Whether it's a school concert, a sporting event, or just a tough day—they can count on us to always show up, cheer them on, and remind them that they are never alone. We will be their biggest fans, their safe place, and their steady foundation.
At the same time, we will make it a priority to keep life lighthearted and full of joy, laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
We want to raise a child who is confident, kind, and proud of who they are and where they come from, including the courageous woman who brought them into the world. If you choose us, your child will always know that your decision was made out of deep love.
Please know that, no matter what path you choose, we hold space in our hearts for you and the love you have for your child.
About Us
Hello, we are Ryan and Sarah from Wisconsin. We met in the spring of 2022 and quickly fell in love. We bonded over many things we had in common, like our love for our pets, our close relationships with our families, and our enjoyment of living a simple lifestyle. We got engaged in January of 2023 and had a beautiful barn wedding in September of the same year. We enjoy annual summer vacations in northern Wisconsin where we have lake days. Sarah also has immediate family in Florida and Colorado, which allows for vacations out of state. At home, we love spending time with our three cats. We regularly attend local festivals/fairs. We are both BIG fans of the Packers. Ryan works in the automotive collision repair industry as a production manager. Sarah works as a tour operator for groups traveling overseas, which enables her to work from home.
Our Home & Neighborhood
We live in a suburb in southeast Wisconsin. Our apartment is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in a city with a small town feel and tight-knit community. The city has a charming downtown area which has a weekly music festival. We are within walking distance of a large park on a river that has a playground, riverwalk, picnic area, and garden. We share our home with our three cats, Bagheera, Piccolino, and Mercy. Bagheera was adopted from the humane society in 2022, and Sarah inherited Piccolino and Mercy, who were rescued by her late uncle, in 2017. Piccolino lost his eyes as a kitten, and Mercy survived severe burns caused by cruelty, but both live happy lives with lots of love.
Our Family & Friends
Both of us grew up in close, tight-knit families. Ryan was born and raised in Wisconsin by his parents, who are still happily married. Ryan is very close to his family. He grew up with an older brother and younger sister, each 2 years apart in age. We have regular get-togethers to enjoy a meal and watch our favorite reality TV show, Survivor, as well as watching Packers games. Ryan's family enjoys their annual vacations in northern Wisconsin, where his family has been visiting since his mom was a child.
Although Sarah's family is spread across several states, they remain incredibly close. She grew up near her dad's side of the family with her parents and two older brothers and spent much of her childhood surrounded by grandparents and extended family—sharing holidays, family dinners, and countless special memories. Now, her immediate family is gradually moving to Wisconsin, intentionally relocating to be nearby as we prepare to grow our own family.
Their love and support mean the world to us, and we're excited to raise a child in such a close-knit and caring extended family.
What Led Us To Adoption
From the beginning of our relationship, we both knew that we wanted to have a family. A past health issue required treatment that unfortunately impacted Sarah's ability to have children. We knew in our hearts that the path of adoption was the way we wanted to grow our family. Adoption is not just an alternative for us—it's an intentional way to build the loving family we've always envisioned. As hopeful parents, we are excited to raise a child with unconditional love and strong family values, just as our parents raised us. We are surrounded by a supportive network of family and friends who are equally excited to welcome a child into our lives.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
