dear expectant mother

We can’t imagine the thoughtfulness and grace that goes into these kinds of decisions. The level of personal insight and grace you display by doing what you think is right is beyond anything most people go through their entire lives. We respect you immensely for even considering adoption as a way forward. Even if you don’t choose us and decide to choose another family, thank you for being amazing!

Should you choose our family, it’s important you know more about us. We’ll work tirelessly to provide our future child with every possible opportunity; their growth, education, personal development, and success will be our everlasting objectives. They will be our everything. More than having opportunities, they’ll have an entire support system caring for them and cheering them on every step of the way. Our friends, family, and coworkers know and understand how important this is for us and the future of our family.

About Us

We met over the Internet, but we didn’t waste any time and almost immediately went on a date together. After two dates, we knew there was something special. Having come from two completely different worlds, we didn’t know what to expect. Now we’ve been together for four years, work together in a family company, and love spending time with one another. There’s nothing better than doing something you love with the person you love the most. We’re both very passionate about our lives together and the success we’ll create for our family and future children.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with a fully fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. There’s an elementary school just up the street, and once in a while, we hear the ice cream truck pass by. Our sunroom offers our four-year-old cat, Louise, a chance to sunbathe year round. We also share our home with Theodore, our 3 year old Labradoodle. We bring him to work with us every day and he loves to check in with our coworkers. Everyone just loves him!

One of our favorite things is that we live near a historic farmstead, and they hold holiday events year round. During the fall, we can pick apples, and at Christmas time, they give out hot chocolate and people sing carols. It’s a great neighborhood that has sidewalks, street lights, and the bus stop right up the street so we wave to all of the kiddos when we drive by with Theodore in the backseat.

Our Extended Family

Steven’s two grandmothers are still with us, both older than 80. They’re spry and still attending family get-togethers and holiday celebrations. Riley’s grandparents have all passed, but his mom and dad are grandparents themselves to all five of Riley’s nieces and nephews. Steven has one older brother, and Riley has a sister. Riley’s brother passed away five years ago from a chronic illness.

Our family ties are strong, and we enjoy going to cousins’ birthday parties, their children’s sports games, and every holiday event we can muster. We couldn’t be more grateful for the support we’ve received from friends and family. Our closest friends have already provided us with many essentials so that whenever our opportunity happens, we’re ready to do what we need to do. We also work in a family company, so many of our coworkers are our extended family and continue to offer us guidance, education, and support when we need extra time away from the office.

What Led Us To Adoption

After we met and started talking about our individual wants and needs, both of us knew we would make great dads. It wasn’t long after we made our relationship official that we realized how strong our bond was. Having a unique understanding of different communities and each other, we knew we could create a safe environment for a child. We heard about Angel Adoption and the work they’ve done to connect families all over the U.S., and we decided this was the path for us. We’re overjoyed at the idea of being dads, but our primary goal is to be the light to a little one and create a great life with them and for them. Thank you for considering us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
