dear expectant mother
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about us. We know this is not an easy journey, and we want to honor the courage, love, and strength it takes to even consider adoption for your baby. You are not just part of your baby’s story—you are their beginning, and we will always honor that.

Adoption has been in our hearts for many years. Nicki dreamed of adopting since she was young, inspired by friends touched by adoption and foster care. When we married, we hoped to grow our family both biologically and through adoption. After years of infertility, we knew adoption was the path meant for us—not as a backup plan, but as something deeply right.

If you choose us, your child will grow up in a home full of stability, love, laughter, and adventure. We’ll spend our days exploring the world through travel and stories and engaging in our community with our friends and families—including the richness of Robert’s Mexican heritage, our child’s cultural heritage, and those beyond our own. Our home will be a place of joy, safety, and belonging, where your child always knows their story began with your love and courage.

We are so grateful for your consideration and for the opportunity to share our hearts with you.

 With thanks and respect,
Robert & Nicki
About Us
We’re Robert and Nicki—a warm, grounded couple whose life blends faith, creativity, and service. Our marriage is rooted in family, enriched by cultural diversity, and centered on creating a joyful, welcoming home. Nicki is outgoing, creative, and nurturing; her Midwestern roots show in her love for baking, flower arranging, and finding beauty in everyday life. Robert, who proudly carries his Mexican heritage, is steady, kind, and hardworking, with a great sense of humor. He enjoys fishing and building things for our home.

Nicki works from home in consulting and loves solving problems and helping others grow. Robert is a pastor and spends his days mentoring, teaching, and serving our community. Our days are peaceful but full—morning workouts, work we love, dinner together, and time with friends. Weekends bring rest, projects, and connection; Sundays are for church, family, and gratitude.
Our Home & Neighborhood
We live in a ranch-style home in Georgia with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a fenced-in backyard that’s perfect for playing, grilling, and gathering around the firepit. Robert has built some of our furniture, which makes our home feel extra personal and cozy. The kitchen is Nicki’s favorite space—there’s always something simmering or baking, and it’s where people naturally gather.

Our neighborhood is safe, welcoming, and diverse, with parks and good schools nearby. Kids ride their bikes in the cul-de-sac, and families look out for one another. We don’t have pets at the moment, but Nicki loves watching the birds, bunnies, and squirrels that visit our yard. We dream of one day seeing our child running around in this space.
Our Family & Friends
Nicki grew up in Wisconsin in a big, close-knit family with a sister and three brothers, lots of laughter, and plenty of sports. She visits often to spend time with her parents, siblings, and a lively crew of nieces and nephews. We love visiting our family in the Midwest at Christmas time especially so we can enjoy the snow!

Robert grew up in a military family and is especially close with his older sister. His father is Mexican, and while Robert doesn’t speak Spanish yet, Nicki speaks some, and we have learned to celebrate that part of our heritage through food, traditions, and cultural experiences. Robert’s family and background taught him to value people from many different walks of life, and that has shaped how we live today.

As adults, we’ve lived in South Africa, Texas, North Carolina, and Georgia, building an amazing “chosen family” of friends along the way. We also have a beautiful, diverse church community and can’t wait to welcome a child into our circle.
Between grandparents, siblings, cousins, and close friends, our child will be surrounded by love, encouragement, and a sense of belonging—a whole village ready to cheer them on through every phase of life.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has been on our hearts for many years, even before we met. Nicki dreamed of adopting since she was young, inspired by friends who were adopted through foster care. Together, we hoped to grow our family both biologically and through adoption. After years of infertility, it became clear adoption was the way forward—and it felt right, not as a backup plan, but as the beautiful path meant for us.

We’re excited about the chance to pour our love and energy into raising a child, celebrating their uniqueness and cultural identity, giving them a home filled with stability, warmth, laughter, and adventure. Our friends’ journeys have shown us how adoption can build family in the most meaningful and loving ways.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
