dear expectant mother
There are no words that can adequately describe the gratitude we have for knowing you read our profile. We have never met; however, we know you are facing a big decision, and we have no doubt you are doing it with bravery and compassion. Nervousness is a natural part of the adoption process for everyone, and we hope that, provided you give us the chance, we can help ease those feelings by addressing your concerns and answering your questions with honesty and empathy. We can't promise perfection, but we can promise we are wholeheartedly committed to loving this child as our own - standing by them through hardship, celebrating every joy, and offering unwavering support, stability, and a lifetime of unconditional love and laughter.
Our friends and family know our home is meant to be lived in, and our door is always open. You, as the expectant mother, have the same invitation, and we are open to working together, as a team, on what role you play in our family that will be built through adoption.
With every good wish we have, we hope that you are at ease with your decision and we would be extremely honored and grateful if you choose us. We are excited about becoming fathers and will continue to strive to meet your expectations as the parents of your child should you choose us.
About Us
Howdy! We are Michael and Matthew. Laughter is at the core of our relationship—finding ways to make each other chuckle or smile perfectly sums up who we are individually and as a couple. Since meeting, we've shared so many laughs as part of our everyday activities—be it hiking with our pups, spending time with friends, or road trips to new destinations—and we've never laughed so hard or felt so loved and safe. While Michael is a teacher and natural extrovert, he often plays the role of 'social butterfly'. Matthew spends much of his day looking at numbers and spreadsheets, giving him time to come up with zingers that make us laugh until we cry. Daily check-ins with each other on how work went or who we talked to are our foundation.
Our Home & Neighborhood
We live in a two-bedroom rancher on a little over half an acre in the suburbs of Pennsylvania. Sunsets, swimming in the pool, evenings around the fire pit, and growing vegetables in garden boxes are a few of our favorite memories about our home. Most of Matthew's immediate and extended family are less than 30 minutes away, and Michael's family is less than 2 hours away. Our goldendoodles, Theodore and Lainey, love the nearby parks and are serious cuddlers. Abel, Macey, and Josie also came with quite the purr-sonality from a relative's farm. Our home is often filled with laughter as we make memories with friends and family because of the joy we get from hosting.
Our Family & Friends
Matthew gets his big heart from his mom, who is his biggest champion. He has two sisters and is the fun-loving uncle to two nieces who cherish him for their movie nights and dance parties. Matthew prides himself on hosting Thanksgiving dinner where he makes everyone's favorite foods - Mexican street corn, twice baked potatoes, and bruschetta to name a few. His dad is close by, and we often spend time with his cousin and her two kids playing board games and barbecuing.
While Michael's family is further away, he is close to his mom, who shares his love of antiques, and we frequently do monthly brunches at her favorite Asian restaurant with her partner. He has twin brothers who married their high school sweethearts and welcomed his six nieces and nephews. One of Michael's fondest memories is when his grandparents taught the family how to play croquet, which continues to be a favorite.
For us, family is not all about blood, as we have several close friends who we are constantly with and have become uncles to their children. Family is our greatest strength, and we are always there when someone needs us.
What Led Us To Adoption
Finding each other allowed us to realize we were meant to be dads. We hoped for many years to start our own family as we played our favorite roles as fun-loving uncles to our nieces and nephews. And while that role has brought us great joy, we knew that raising our own children would be the greatest role we could ever have. Michael had a pair of close friends go through adoption and shared in their journey to create a family, while Matthew had considered both surrogacy and fostering. However, we knew in our hearts that adoption was the best way for us to grow our own family and share the immense love we have to give.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
