dear expectant mother
First, we are truly grateful for the opportunity to connect with you through our story. Your selflessness in considering this is unfathomable and deeply touching. We cannot express enough how much love we have to share with a child, and how wholeheartedly we would devote ourselves to providing the best life possible as loving, supportive parents.
We cherish every moment spent entertaining friends and family. It's common to find our nieces and nephews selling lemonade in the driveway with Brooks helping them design signs, or Mary outside painting rocks with the kids to display in our yard. Our friends often gather in our front yard for badminton, volleyball, or any yard game imaginable. Our home is more than a space—it's a place filled with laughter, connection, and community.
Family is at the heart of all we do. Their love and support, especially during our fertility struggles, has brought us strength and hope.
Your consideration in being part of this journey means more than words can say. Please know we hold deep respect and admiration for your compassion and courage. If you feel inclined to learn more about us, we would be honored to connect.
Until then, thank you for bringing light and hope to families like ours.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Brooks and Mary
About Us
Hello! First, let us start by thanking you for taking the time to read about us and our journey. We've been together for over 23 years and grew up together since we met as teens. We're both executives in the logistics industry and have worked hard to grow in our careers so we can live a fun, stable life—something that's very important to us.
Brooks has always been a family man who puts his relationships above everything. He's built a tight-knit, diverse group of friends and loves the sport of boxing. It's more than a hobby—it's a way of life that he shares by coaching both kids and adults.
Mary loves tending to her garden and enjoys running outside whenever she gets the chance. Her heart is fullest when she and Brooks can fill their home with loved ones, giving her an excuse to cook and open up their space.
Our Home & Neighborhood
We are extremely proud of our home. We were born and raised in OH, and our families love to visit us here in IL, stay in our extra bedrooms, and do all the touristy things close by. Our city has been consistently rated one of the safest cities to live and raise a family in the US. The school districts are top notch. We love working in our garden to make it feel like our own little sanctuary. We share our home with the best boy, our 20-year-old cat Charlie. He is very friendly and acts more like a dog than a cat. He is very beloved with our friends and family. Everyone knows and loves Charlie.
Our Family & Friends
Mary has 2 siblings, an older sister and younger brother. Her younger brother relocated from OH to IL so they could be close to each other as they are best friends. Her sister is in OH with her husband and our niece and nephew. Mary's parents are in OH as well, and we LOVE when we get a visit, which is often. Mary is also incredibly close with her cousins, and we seem to always have a family wedding to travel to, which is one of our most fun weekend getaways.
Brooks has a large family! He has 6 sisters and 1 brother and way too many cousins to count. His family is mostly in OH as well, and we spend time going home to OH as often as we can to visit. We have 2 nephews on Brooks's side that we have made an annual tradition to visit and stay with us every summer ever since they were toddlers. They are now teenagers and still love to come visit, which we feel is a huge compliment.
What Led Us To Adoption
We were both extremely career focused, and wanted to build our lives together to have our own loving home. But, there's always been a longing to expand our family, knowing that we have so much love to offer a child. As we've navigated the complexities of fertility, which include IVF, 4 miscarriages, and 2 egg retrievals over the past 5 years, we've come to realize that our journey must take a different path—one that we pray might cross yours. We have been blessed with cousins, nieces, and nephews through adoption. We are hopeful to have this as a possibility for us to experience the love and joy we have had with some of our dearest family members.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
