dear expectant mother
Dear Mom,
Thank you for considering me as a potential additional parent for your child. I don't know what circumstances have led you to look at my profile, but I can imagine it is a decision that feels overwhelming and oftentimes a little scary. I admire your bravery in undertaking this journey for your child and hope that at the end of your journey, you experience peace in whatever decision you make.
From a very young age, I always hoped my journey would lead me toward adoption. Adoption has played a large role in my extended family and my current work life, and I am so excited to be in a place to welcome a child into my home and wonderful family. If you were to choose me to adopt your child, they will grow up in a home full of love, many family gatherings, fun travels, and as many life experiences as I can offer. Most importantly, though, your child will grow up knowing that they have two families who love them: your family and my family. I don't know what type of adoption you envision, but your child will always know about their heritage, the selfless decisions you made for them, and how much you love them.
Thank you for considering me for the honor of helping raise your child. I wish you nothing but peace as you make these upcoming decisions for your child.
My Lifestyle
While I love travel and the adventures it brings, I am also a homebody at heart who loves routine. I am blessed to have a job that allows me to work from home four days a week and provides a lot of flexibility. When I am not working, my time consists of long walks with my Sheepadoodle (Phoebe), reading new books, working in my garden, and trying new recipes. Organizing my spice cabinet probably excites me more than is necessary. I am also part of two monthly book clubs, since one was apparently not enough.
The weekends are usually dedicated to fun activities with friends and family. Pool days at my parents' house are a regular summer activity, and the beautiful weather we enjoy almost year-round leads to a lot of outdoor activities, including the beach, fishing, and cookouts with friends. We are hoping the future will also bring children's sports activities and weekend trips to Disney World.
My Home & Neighborhood
I live in a cute, suburban neighborhood with younger, diverse families and lots of children. My house is 5 minutes away from my childhood home, which my parents still live in. While I may be biased since I have spent so much of my life in this little corner of the world, I can't imagine a better place to grow up. I love that I live 25 minutes from a vibrant downtown and the beach, but also get to feel like I live in a small town where I have known the same individuals who have worked in my Publix for over 20 years. I can attest to how wonderful a place it is to grow up, having spent my own childhood here.
My Family & Friends
My family and friends are one of the best things about me, and I am so blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful people. They have given me such a joyful life that I hope to continue with my own child. I have one sister and a brother-in-law who live in Colorado, and I get to see them several times a year. They are also starting the process to hopefully add to their family through adoption! One of my favorite traditions is a yearly sister trip that my sister and I take in the summer around our birthdays. My parents met in high school and have been together for almost 45 years. They are my favorite people. My dad passed on his love of plants and gardening to me, and we spent a lot of time together outdoors (I almost convinced him to build a chicken coop!). My mom is the most nurturing person and one of the biggest supports in my life. I think her greatest joy right now comes from the thought of having grandchildren. My grandmothers are both alive, and my maternal grandmother is about to move into an in-law suite that my parents are adding onto their house.
My Favorite Adventures
I have been blessed to travel all over the world, with some of my favorite places being Italy, Israel, Costa Rica, France, Switzerland, and Spain. Travel has given me a broader understanding of the world outside my own personal bubble and helped me experience different cultures, ways of thinking, and points of view that I may never have gotten without those experiences. It is a passion and understanding I hope to pass on to my own child one day.
I also feel very lucky to have a job that I love. While I do not consider my job to be my life, I worked very hard for my degrees and am passionate about using them to help the children and families in my community.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
