dear expectant mother
Thank you for considering us and taking the time to learn more about who we are. It's challenging to find the proper words to paint the picture of what must be going on, but we hope that we can help support you and the baby on this journey. We both walk a path of faith and believe that the baby that we are meant to care for is waiting for us. Maybe in the same way, you may feel that the parents that are meant to accept and love the baby are out there waiting for you. This could possibly be that divine appointment.
We are blessed to be surrounded by an incredibly supportive community and have learned how important and vital that is. When we were falling in love, we learned that life isn't about having it all together or being perfect. It's about who we build a life with to learn together. We know that God loves all of us more than we'll ever be able to understand. Thank you for your courage and tremendous act of trust and love.
About Us
We met in 2016. Although you may think that a sporty person and an artsy person don’t mix, the most powerful cement in our relationship is our spirituality. Our lives today are focused on our faith and how we can make the world a better place by loving and helping others. Jon enjoys running in the morning, and Javi likes to sleep in a little bit. Jon works at the church where we got married, and Javi works in retail. We both enjoy traveling and exploring the world together. Community is very important to us, as we have learned that we can’t do life alone! We are frequently surrounded by many friends and family members. We realize that it takes a village and are grateful for everyone’s support in our adoption journey.
Our Home & Neighborhood
We live downtown in a vibrant city in South Florida, near the beach. We live in a single-story 2-bedroom house provided by the church. The house has a fenced yard and is located next to a park on the river. We love to take our 10-year-old rescue dog and fur baby, Emma, on long walks around the neighborhood.
Our Family & Friends
Javi's parents come from Peru. His father's side is Chinese, and he has 7 siblings! His mother is Spanish and comes from a family of 10! Growing up, they used to go to many family get-togethers where he and his cousins would play games. Now everyone has spread their wings, and they live all over the world. His little sister lives in New York City, and he has cousins from Canada to Australia.
Jon's family is from New Jersey. His is an Irish Catholic heritage where family and tradition run deep. We love to visit everyone in the family from New Jersey to California. We enjoy summers on the shore and Christmas to see the snow, with his dad and brother. His brother served in the Army and now works in the city. His father comes from a family of 4 and is excited for grandkids! His mother passed away from cancer when he was 19 and was his best friend. He continued to take care of his grandmother Mimi until she went to heaven, speaking to his character and commitment.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always wanted to build a family together. Some of our best friends are adopted and have beautiful lives. Jon mentors students at the church and has always been drawn to being a dad someday. We were watching the movie "Sound of Hope" last summer and were inspired to take the next step in providing a loving home to one of God's kids.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
