dear expectant mother

Dear Birth Family,

We can only imagine how emotional and overwhelming this time must be for you. Exploring adoption—and choosing a family—takes immense love and courage, and we will never lose sight of that.

Thank you for reading this. For over a decade, Elizabeth has felt like a mother without a child. The right time, place, and partner never quite aligned—until we met each other. From our very first conversation, adoption was a natural and joyful “of course.”
We were both raised by incredible step-parents who chose to love us unconditionally, showing us that family isn’t just biology—it’s the daily act of loving, showing up, and staying.

We will raise our child in a home full of laughter, warmth, and encouragement—with two very pampered rescue dogs, a big extended family, and two devoted, curious, slightly sarcastic parents. We will cherish every moment—sleepless nights, tiny giggles, big questions—and we’ll raise our child knowing their story began with the deepest kind of love: yours.

Whether you wish for an open, closed, or evolving relationship, we’ll honor your wishes. If you want us involved during your pregnancy, we’re here. If you need space, we respect that completely.

Whoever you entrust with this child, we hope you find peace in knowing how deeply your decision is seen and respected.

With love,
Elizabeth & Jordan

Our Love Story

We met online on October 9, 2022. Elizabeth had just returned to dating, encouraged by a close friend, and as a small business owner, her time was limited. Jordan worked from home and was hoping to meet someone who wanted something real.

Jordan says Elizabeth’s profile showed great taste in movies and hinted she might be funny. For Elizabeth, it was how naturally the conversation flowed—we could talk for hours.

Just days after our first date, Jordan’s grandfather passed away. Though it was early, Elizabeth drove an hour to be with him. We stayed up all night talking about life, loss, and family. Elizabeth went straight to work the next morning, and Jordan says that was the moment he knew he’d marry her.

Since then, we’ve been inseparable. We laugh constantly, support each other fully, and love deeply. It’s one of the greatest joys of our lives to have found a partner who understands us so completely.

Our Home & Neighborhood

Jordan and I live in a suburb in Florida, the “sunshine state.” Our community is well known for its’ “family-friendly atmosphere” and phenomenal school districts, which is one of the reasons we moved there. (It also happens to be very close to Jordan’s parents, who are retired and can’t wait to be grandparents)

The city is also neighboring a nature preserve and has tons of fun things to do including a booming farmer’s market and lots of parks. Shopping centers, malls, and everything you could need is never more than ten minutes away.

Jordan and I also have two dogs that we adopted, Molly and Luna. Both are extremely friendly, have historically done well with children and they are beloved members of our family.

Our Family & Friends

We are lucky to have a close-knit, nearby support network of family and friends. Three of our future child’s grandparents are eagerly awaiting their arrival, and are all retired! They are looking forward to plenty of quality time with the baby. We spend most major holidays with them and the rest of Jordan’s family, including his brother, sister, and his grandmothers. Jordan is extremely close to his family and we enjoy playing board games together, cooking together, and just “stopping by because we were in the neighborhood.” We are lucky enough to have a few close friends that live nearby, two of Elizabeth’s professional dance partners and dear friends who we regularly will see and get dinner with. Elizabeth has close friends with their own dance studio in Miami Beach, and they can’t wait to be “Aunt” and “Uncle.” We have a tradition of dinners, holidays, and game nights together with them and other dance colleagues in South Florida. Lastly, Jordan has his cousin and wife nearby, who are expecting their first child in August 2025! We have a village eagerly standing by to celebrate our family.

Adoption in Our Lives

Both of us were raised by loving step-parents who made a lasting impact on our lives. Because of that, it feels natural to imagine loving an adopted child just as deeply as we were loved by the parents who, in many ways, “chose” us.

While we haven’t adopted ourselves, adoption has touched our lives. (And not just through our rescue dogs—though we do adore them.) Elizabeth’s aunt Martha adopted her daughter, Rebecca, because she wanted a child of her own.

Rebecca was Elizabeth’s cousin and childhood best friend. We made countless memories growing up, and today, she remains one of Elizabeth’s closest friends. Though we live far apart, we talk often and visit yearly. She was never “adopted”—just family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
