dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
First, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us to raise your child. We can't begin to imagine the weight of the decision you're facing, and we deeply admire your strength and love.
If you choose us, please know that your child will be surrounded by love every single day. As someone who was adopted myself, I (Liz) have a unique understanding of this journey. I was raised by incredibly loving parents and extended family, and we are ready to offer that same unconditional love and support to your child.
Our home is filled with laughter, warmth, and joy. We look forward to sharing our favorite traditions and activities—like fishing, reading, traveling, and celebrating holidays—with the newest member of our family.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. No matter what decision you make, we wish you strength, peace, and all the love in the world.
With gratitude,
Liz & Chris
Our Lifestyle
We both work full-time during the week, splitting our time between a couple of days in the office and a couple of days working remotely. We're fortunate to have a strong work-life balance. Chris enjoys playing darts once a week and loves fishing in the summer. Liz enjoys reading and going to baseball games. Together, we love spending time with our families and friends, heading down to the shore, visiting the Poconos, and taking mini-weekend road trips to nearby destinations.
Our Home & Neighborhood
We live in a cozy townhouse with three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, and a finished basement. Our home has a spacious kitchen and living room, with a nice deck just off the kitchen—perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Downstairs, the basement opens to a patio and a fenced-in backyard, both furnished with tables and chairs for enjoying the outdoors. Our neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, which we love. In 2024, we adopted our sweet dog, Dolly, a three-year-old Whippet mix. She's full of love—she gets excited to greet new visitors but is incredibly calm and gentle, especially with children.
Our Family & Friends
Liz is an only child and was adopted herself, but she's always been incredibly close with her parents. Raised in New Jersey, she has a large extended family—lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a grandfather who is so excited at the thought of becoming a great-grandpa. She also has many lifelong friends who feel like family. Growing up, Liz spent time at her family’s home in the Poconos and took yearly vacations with loved ones—traditions we still keep today. She can’t wait to bring a child along to the Poconos and create new memories there.
Chris is the youngest of three, with one brother, one sister, four nieces, and a nephew. He’s very close with his grandmother and extended family, many of whom live nearby. Like Liz, he has close friends who have become family to us. Every summer, we visit the shore to see his aunt who lives there, and we’re excited to one day share that tradition with our future child.
We’re lucky to be surrounded by such a loving and supportive group, and both of our families are so eager to welcome a new bundle of joy into their lives.
Adoption in Our Lives
Adoption has always been a meaningful part of Liz's life—she was adopted as a baby, and one of Chris's aunts has also adopted children. From early on, we knew adoption was something we wanted to pursue. After experiencing two miscarriages over the past three years, we've come to realize that adoption may be part of our journey sooner than we expected—and we truly hope our path crosses yours.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
