dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We are grateful that you are reading our profile. You face a scary, huge, wonderful decision. We understand what it means for you to pick us to be your child's parents. We fully comprehend the trust and honor you give to us as you do so. We want nothing more than to be parents. We believe we were put on this path to find a child who needs a family, because we are a family who needs a child.

That has been a dream of ours since we were children ourselves. In our families, we are the older cousins that all the younger cousins come to. We have both worked with kids and watched our friends become amazing parents. We are about to become an Aunt and Uncle and are so excited to take on that role, yet something is still missing for us. We know you have many families to choose from, but we are hardworking, caring, creative people who are ready to be parents. All we need is someone to see the puzzle piece missing in our family and fill it. We hope you consider us to be your baby's adoptive parents. We wish you the best of luck in this decision and hope to meet you soon.

Sincerely,
Chelsea and Kyle

About Us

Hi—we're Chelsea and Kyle! Chelsea is a 34-year-old Special Education teacher, and Kyle is a 33-year-old Recreation Leader for the County Parks Department. We both grew up in New Jersey with our families and met at a game night in December 2014—Chelsea hosted, and her cousin Richie invited Kyle along. After five months of friendship, Kyle asked Chelsea out, and we've been together ever since.

Our life together is filled with joy and simple pleasures. We enjoy going to the movies, mini-golfing, spending time with friends, and going out to eat. In January 2020, we moved in together after talking about our future, got engaged ten months later, and were married on October 15, 2022. We bought our first home in October 2023 and welcomed our first dog, Ella, in February 2024.

We're excited about growing our family through adoption and look forward to sharing our love, home, and adventures with a child.

All that’s missing is a baby! Our relationship is built on a foundation of safe, open communication and love—and we can’t wait to raise a child in that same environment.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in a two-story townhouse with two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The home features an open-concept living and dining area, a spacious kitchen with a pass-through, and both a walk-in closet and pantry. Just off the living space, there's a cozy back patio with a table and chairs—perfect for enjoying nice weather.

Our neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, with lots of dogs, babies, and a playground just a short walk from our front door.
We recently adopted a two-year-old Mountain Cur mix named Ella. She's sweet, calm, and wonderful with children—she's already brought so much joy to our home and would make an excellent big sister.

Our Family & Friends

We are closely involved with both sides of our family and have been accepted by each other's parents and siblings with open arms. Not only that, our families have a great relationship as well. Our parents even spend time together without us! Our family is very supportive of and excited for our adoption process. At this time, our child will be the first grandchild/niece or nephew on both sides of our family, and everyone is looking forward to loving and welcoming our child.

We will lean on our village of family and friends, which is made up of loving, dependable child care providers, educators, medical professionals, lawyers, and police officers, to help us raise our child. We have several family members and friends who have built their families through adoption, and we will lean on their experiences as well. From children's books to entertainment content to family therapy and support groups—we are willing to use every available resource to ensure that our child always feels loved, wanted, and that they are a treasured member of our family.

Chelsea has known since she was young that she cannot have children biologically, but she has always dreamed of becoming a mother. Helping children has always been her purpose—both in her work as a special education teacher and through adoption.

Kyle has always wanted a family of his own. Early in their relationship, Chelsea shared her infertility, and Kyle simply asked, "Do you still want kids?" When she said yes, he knew they were on the same page.

Throughout our relationship and marriage, we've had many open conversations about family planning. Together, we believe adoption is not only the right path to grow our family, but also a way to provide a loving home for a child who needs one.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
