Our Lifestyle
We work hard to balance our outgoing, social personalities with our appreciation for peaceful evenings at home. Brittany is a second grade teacher who feels grateful to spend her days learning and growing alongside her students. Nik is a skilled carpenter who specializes in renovations and takes pride in building and improving spaces with care and craftsmanship.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys baking sweet treats, tending to her garden, getting lost in a good book, and watching movies with family. Nik loves experimenting with new recipes on the grill, woodworking in his spare time, and heading out to fish with family whenever he can.
We share our home with two fun-loving dogs who keep us active and entertained. We enjoy taking them on walks, playing in the yard, and cuddling together on the couch at the end of the day. While our weekdays can be busy, weekends are our time to slow down, gather with friends and family, or simply relax around a cozy bonfire at home.

Our close-knit family blends Brittany's smaller family, with just a few aunts, uncles, and cousins, and Nik's larger family with multiple generations of cousins, along with many aunts and uncles. These relatives create a lively, supportive group made up of different generations and personalities. Family gatherings bring us together to celebrate milestones, holidays, and simply enjoy each other's company. These occasions are filled with laughter, storytelling, and delicious food shared around the table. Cooking and baking are cherished activities that bring us closer as we pass down family recipes and try new ones together.
Special relationships, such as the bond we shared with Nik's amazing grandma, are deeply treasured in our hearts. She brought wisdom, humor, and so much love to our family gatherings, and her memory continues to guide and shape our traditions. Whether it's a game night, a summer camping trip, or a favorite holiday tradition, these experiences bring us together and create a true sense of belonging and home.
As our family continues to grow with nephews, nieces, godchildren, and cousins, each new addition brings excitement and joy to our gatherings. We cherish watching these young ones grow, celebrating their milestones, and passing down family values. Together, we honor the past, enjoy the present, and look forward to the future.
