What were your concerns going into the adoption process?

I was worried I would never be in my child's life, but I was able to choose a family that was ok with open adoption.

What helped ease your concerns while going through the adoption process?

My caseworker that Angel Adoption provided was always by my side. They gave me a wonderful case worker and lots of encouragement.

What were you looking for in an adoptive family?

Someone who didn't have children already and in the field of education because education is very important to me and my family.

How did your baby's adoptive family help you through the adoption process?

We got to know each other and we went to ultrasounds together.

What type of adoption did you choose, and why?

I chose open adoption because I knew I wanted to see my child grow up.

Describe your thoughts and emotions before and after the baby's birth.

I was worried he wouldn't understand my decision, but I know he will get the best in the end.

What are you looking forward to now that the adoption process is completed?

I'm looking forward to seeing him and completing college to better myself. I'm also looking forward to having another child when I'm ready.

What advice would you give to other pregnant women who are considering adoption?

It's truly going to be ok in the end. Ask any questions you have and don't second guess yourself. Your heart knows what's best.
