This was one of the hardest decisions that I had to make. I was lucky to have a strong support system from my sister and the child’s father, but my mom was pissed to say the least. But it's your decision, so make it for you. I have two kids already and the fathers don't help. I was going back to school so I could make a better life for us. I knew I couldn't take care of another baby at the time.

Now I would have never thought I’d be the person who would ever do this, but once I met Barbara, I just had a good feeling about her and to see the smile on her face was priceless. I was happy to help someone with a blessing like that. I think about my baby almost every day, but I know she's in a better place and she's well taken care of, so I’d say just pray on it and take your time.
