dear expectant mother
We are incredibly honored to be considered by you to raise your child. We have no way of knowing how difficult this must be for you, but it takes a level of courage and strength that we greatly admire.
If you choose us, we promise to love and cherish your baby from the moment we are chosen through every day of our lives. We have waited a long time and are very excited about this journey. We promise that your baby will live a lifetime of adventures surrounded by extended family and friends who cannot wait to meet our newest family member. Your child is already loved by so many people. We are looking forward to sharing our lives with your child. We can't wait to teach them how to swim and water ski and how to work on cars. We'll hike and climb mountains and learn about history by visiting the pyramids. They will be surrounded by music and will have the opportunity to learn instruments. We can't wait to share our love of special effects and Halloween and to see Christmas through a child's eyes again.
We wish you peace in whatever you decide. We want you to know that we will be eternally grateful and honored if we are chosen and we will always work hard to ensure that you are confident and happy in your decision and that your child knows the amount of love that went into this selfless decision.
Our Hobbies & Passions
We like to stay busy and try everything. Both of us love the outdoors and spend as much time in the water and outside as we can. We've taken cookie-decorating classes together and learned how to make chocolate bars. We can also be spontaneous. We flew to Chicago after work one day just to watch Shoresy, from the TV show, play in a hockey game against the Blackhawks, and flew back the next day.
Stephanie used to compete in water-skiing when she was younger and still skis on a show team. She has been playing piano since she was five and plays drums in a band. She is also hiking the natural high points of every state and takes classes in aerial arts. Mike used to race motorcycles and still rides recreationally. He loves working on cars and bikes and restoring classic cars, even in his free time. He is super handy, and if he's not swimming or barbecuing, he likes to tinker and work on things around the house.
Our Home & Neighborhood
We live in a one-story home on a water-skiing lake in a suburban neighborhood with a lot of children. We are just minutes from the local five-star schools, tons of parks and trails, and really close to multiple beaches. We have a large, private, and fenced-in, back yard with a rope swing and a pool. We are big on swimming and water sports! When we combined households, we ended up with five cats that we absolutely adore. They are super friendly and love children, and they look awfully cute in their Halloween costumes!
Our Family & Friends
Stephanie is extremely close to her parents and speaks to them every day. Mike's parents have passed away, but he is close to his sister and to Stephanie's parents. Stephanie's family always spent Christmas Eve at her father's parents' house. On Christmas morning, Stephanie and her sister weren't allowed to go into the living room to see what Santa brought until her dad had set up the video camera and her mom had coffee ready. After opening presents, they went to her mother's sister's house. Spending holidays with both sides of the extended family continues to this day. There were always barbecues with friends and family on other holidays and days spent on the boat on the lake with friends. Mike's family liked to take summer road trips around the U.S. Stephanie and Mike love Halloween, making decorations, costumes, and treats, and handing out candy. We can't wait to continue these traditions with our own little one and with extended family and friends.
Adoption in Our Lives
Adoption has always been a big part of our lives. Mike was adopted as a baby, so your child will not be alone in the experience. He has fostered children in the past and is excited to share his experiences with a child. We also have several friends who have adopted. Stephanie is a guardian ad litem and represents children in the foster care system whose parents' rights have been terminated. Because of these experiences, we have known for quite some time that we would adopt, and we are ready to bring a child into our lives through the adoption process.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
