Are Hoping to Adopt a Baby
dear expectant mother
First, thank you for taking the time to read our profile and learn a little about us. We cannot begin to imagine how emotional and difficult this journey may feel for you, and we want you to know we already have so much respect for your strength, love, and the care you are putting into this decision for your baby.
Our path to adoption comes from a place of love, hope, and a deep desire to continue growing our family. Through life’s challenges and blessings, we have learned that family is built through unconditional love, patience, commitment, and connection.
We have both earned doctorate degrees and have spent the last 20 years caring for and working with children every day. Those experiences have taught us compassion, patience, and how important it is for a child to feel safe, supported, and deeply loved.
Our home is filled with warmth, laughter, faith, and strong family values. We live in a quiet family-friendly neighborhood where neighbors have become like extended family. We have a seven-year-old daughter who is excited to welcome her future sibling, and a loving Labradoodle who adores children.
If chosen as adoptive parents, we promise to provide a home filled with safety, encouragement, stability, and unconditional love while always honoring your child’s story.
With love and gratitude,
Our Love Story
Our love story is built on faith, resilience, and choosing each other through every challenge. When we first came together, many people doubted our relationship because we came from two different cultures and backgrounds. We knew our journey would not always be easy, but we also knew the love, respect, and connection we shared were stronger than the opinions around us.
Over the years, we faced challenges that tested us, but instead of letting our differences divide us, we learned from one another and grew stronger together. We created our own traditions by blending our cultures, values, foods, languages, and experiences into a home filled with love and acceptance.
Our daughter is the perfect reflection of that journey. Watching her confidently embrace both sides of her identity with pride and joy reminds us how beautiful it is when love brings two worlds together. Our family is proof that commitment, understanding, and unconditional love can create something lasting, meaningful, and strong.

Our Home & Neighborhood
Our home is filled with love, laughter, faith, and warmth. We have a seven-year-old daughter who is excited to welcome a new sibling and already shows a loving, nurturing spirit. Our friendly 4-year-old Labradoodle also brings joy and comfort to our family.
We live in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood where neighbors feel like extended family. Education and strong values are very important to us, which is why we chose an excellent private school for our daughter and hope to provide the same opportunity for another child.
We love spending weekends with friends and neighbors at the pool, tennis courts, and golf club, creating lasting memories together.

Our Family & Friends
Family and close relationships are one of the most important parts of our lives. We are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by supportive loved ones and lifelong friends who truly enjoy spending time together and celebrating life’s special moments.
Our future child will grow up surrounded by warmth, encouragement, laughter, and people who will celebrate every milestone alongside them. Family traditions mean so much to us, and we look forward to creating those same meaningful memories together as parents.
Gathering with family is truly at the heart of who we are. Our happiest memories are the simple moments spent together with extended family and close family friends — sharing meals, laughing late into the evening, playing games with the kids, and enjoying each other’s company. We love spending holidays surrounded by family - traveling to Texas, visiting loved ones in North Carolina, or planning special trips together. Thanksgiving dinners filled with cousins running around the house, Christmas game nights, summer BBQs and pool days, and cheering together during the Super Bowl are the moments we cherish most.
More than anything, we hope to provide a loving and supportive environment where a child always feels safe, valued, deeply loved, encouraged to dream big, and surrounded by people who will support them throughout every stage of life.

Our Cultural Heritage
Faith, kindness, respect, and family are the foundation of our home. We believe in God and strive to live with love, compassion, gratitude, and integrity. Our faith gives us strength and reminds us to treat others with grace and understanding.
We also deeply value culture, identity, and heritage. My husband is Afro-American, and I come from a different country and culture, which allows us to appreciate and celebrate diversity in our family. In our home, we embrace different traditions, foods, languages, and experiences, and we want our future child to always feel proud of who they are.
I would love to teach our future child my native language, just as I do with our daughter, so they remain connected to their roots, culture, and family history with pride and love.
