We have dreamed of expanding our family through adoption for many years, and our dream would not be possible without you and this selfless choice you are considering.

Your child will grow up in a home filled with love, stability, family, fun and laughter, adventure, and the opportunity to follow their dreams, whatever they may be. We are excited to share our love of the outdoors, respect for all living things, love of travel and global cultures, and passion for music, dancing, and the arts. We both grew up in close-knit families. Becky has two brothers and one sister, several nieces and nephews, and close extended family on both sides. We share vacations, holidays, and family traditions together, and our daughter is close to her aunt, uncles, and cousins. Becky learned her love of camping and the outdoors from her parents and still enjoys fishing with her dad and sister. Becky has wonderful memories of preparing traditional foods with her mother and aunts as a child and keeps her mother’s rich Mexican-American culinary heritage alive in our home.
Serine grew up in a tight-knit family with a younger sister, grandparents next door, lots of cousins, and several aunts and uncles. She traveled frequently growing up, spending time with family in Norway, where her father was born. Serine’s sister lives nearby and is a large part of our daughter’s life. Though extended family is farther away, we visit them in Norway and across the country at least once each year, and they visit our home for holidays and summer vacations. Serine’s father lived his last few years with us before he passed, and having this time with him was a true gift for our family.
