Is Hoping to Adopt a Baby
dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Words cannot capture how grateful I am that you are considering me as you search for an adoptive family. I admire the strength that you are showing at what I can only imagine is a very emotional time.
I’ve spent my entire adult life working with children and it has only strengthened and reinforced my desire to be a mother. Adoption gives me the opportunity to welcome a child into my home and my heart – two places that have been ready for quite some time.
If I am the person who feels like the right fit for your child, know that they will be loved, cherished and encouraged every day. Their home will be a safe place to grow, explore and experience life. I will support them in chasing their dreams and accomplishing all of their goals. They will always have someone cheering them on every step of the way. I will honor the type of adoption that you chose and foster the level of communication that feels right for you.
With love and respect, Robin
My Lifestyle
I work with young children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. What started out as a job 17 years ago quickly became a passion. I get the opportunity to connect with kids and their families in a step along their journey. Every day is different and any day where we can celebrate progress is a win.
When I am not working, I fill my time with family and friends. Summer is my favorite season because it is full of baseball games, pool weekends and time outside in the sunshine. Catching up with a friend on a long walk is one of my favorite ways to spend a weekend morning. The dance fitness class I attend is a highlight each week because I get to move, laugh and focus on the music for a while. I love winding down with a good book at the end of the day, especially a mystery that keeps me guessing until the end.

My Favorite Adventures
The key to my heart is a beautiful view and I love any opportunity to spend time by the water. I find it to be calming and centering. Listening to the water run or the waves break always leaves me feeling at peace. Luckily, my family loves the beach so I’m in good company!
My favorite place that we’ve explored is St. John in the US Virgin Islands. I love the island way of life. Swimming in the water and playing in the sand with my niece is the perfect way to spend a day. The laidback, slow pace of every day allows you to truly soak it all in.
