We share a beautiful, flourishing relationship with our son’s birth mother, which has deepened our commitment to honesty and open hearts.
Our home is filled with laughter and tradition. Whether we are on vacation, at the beach, or enjoying quiet weekends, we cherish every moment. We are so excited to see our son become a big brother and to share these experiences with a new child. If you choose us, we will respect your level of comfort regarding communication. Our Home & Neighborhood
Our home is in the heart of a vibrant Connecticut beach town, steps from the green, parks, and shore. We spend summers enjoying beach dinners and sunset walks with our son and our two dogs, Henry and Pastina.
Inside, our three-bedroom home features a large, finished playroom perfect for jungle gyms and basketball hoops; outside, we have a fenced yard and large above ground pool. Family is the center of our lives—with cousins, siblings, and Brittany’s parents living just minutes away, we are constantly surrounded by a loving support system. In our safe, close-knit community, your child will grow up enveloped in laughter, coastal adventures, and the constant presence of family.
Our Family & Friends
Ray has one brother, seven cousins, two parents, and two adorable nephews with another surprise on the way. Every thanksgiving, our extended family meets in one place to celebrate together. This is always such an amazing time for everyone to get together since our family is scattered across the country. Ray and his family have gone down to Long Beach Island his entire life like clockwork; this family tradition has stayed constant in his life, and it is where his love for the beach began.
Brittany’s favorite family tradition, aside from Sunday dinners at her parents’ house, is their Christmas Eve celebration hosted at Brittany and Ray’s house. This includes her three siblings, parents, and 12 nieces and nephews. Each Christmas Eve there is an elaborate dinner inspired by the Feast of Seven Fishes. The night is filled with family, games, and even a surprise visit from Santa to hand out gifts. Family is so important to both of us, and we can’t wait to start new traditions with our growing family.
Adoption in Our Lives
After surviving stage four cancer as an infant, Brittany always knew adoption would be her path to motherhood. Ray has been her steadfast partner in this vision, viewing adoption as a beautiful, sacred way to build a family.
Having successfully adopted our son, our commitment to this journey has only deepened. We have navigated the process, experienced its profound joy, and built a wonderful relationship with our son’s birth mother. We now understand firsthand the courage involved and the love that connects us all. We are beyond excited to go through this journey again, eager to grow our family and give our son the sibling he deserves. Our hearts are wide open and ready for this next chapter.
